Camping Le Pont Romain Onlycamp is on the outskirts of the town of Yvré-l'Évêque, in the centre of the Sarthe. Here, you camp close to the lovely city of Le Mans with its famous circuit. Furthermore, it's a good stop off point for tourists following La Vélobuissonnière cycle route. This small-scale campsite includes camping pitches, a heated outdoor swimming pool and a snack bar.

What accommodation options are there?

This level campsite has sunny and shaded touring pitches available. They also have accommodation. You can also book a glamping stay in a modern mobile home, chalet or lodge tent. Adventurers and cycling tourists often spend the night in the cosy bivouac tents.

Enjoy the heated swimming pool

The lovely swimming pool is in the middle of the site. Jump in the heated swimming water of the basic swimming pool, which is big enough to swim laps. Meanwhile, the youngest campers can play in the adjacent paddling pool. A fun outdoor playground and a lovely recreational hall offer even more entertainment. Additionally, there is a small shop, a snack bar and a bakery service.

Ideal for motor sport fans

La Vélobuissonnière is a popular cycle route between Normandy and the Loire castles. This roughly 250-kilometre route leads you over green paths through quiet countryside. Camping Le Pont Romain Onlycamp is only a few kilometres from this route. You can also get to Papéa Parc amusement park (6 km) and the Pescheray zoo (18.5 km) in no time. Furthermore, the campsite is close to the historic centre of Le Mans (8 km), a city famous for its circuit.

Stayed here again on route south. Still a great site with many improvements since last autumn including a children's play area. Love it.

Travelling party: Seniors

A good site for a stop either going south or north. This year it looked like improvements had been made - excellent play area and new cabins and large tents erected on the right hand side. Quiet site on edge of village. Pitches have had new trees planted but the actual pitches needed more hardstandings and the grass cut and manicured. Sanitary good and lovely walk into the village.

great campsite. pitches can be a bit tight when busy, but glorious out of season. good heated facilities, excellent staff, 10 min walk to bus for Le Mans. rural. quiet. loved it.

Super friendly and well run campsite. We will be back for sure. Le Mans is 15mins by bus, the stop is 10min walk from site next to church. I am.adding this to my list of favourite sites in France.
