Huttopia Saumur campsite is located in the middle of a wooded nature reserve in the Loire Valley, just above the town of Saumur. With vineyards, castles and picturesque villages nearby, there is plenty to see in the area. The campsite is located directly on a higher part of the banks of the Loire and offers a wonderful view of the river and the valley. The campsite has reserved its best spots on the riverside.

Panorama over the Loire

The showpiece of the campsite is the panoramic view. The campsite is situated on an elevated part of the site, giving you a wonderful view of the Loire from various pitches and rental accommodation. The pitches are located on the right-hand side of the campsite and are separated by hedges. Trees provide shade on these pitches.

Three swimming pools

In high season, the Huttopia Saumur campsite is particularly popular with young families with children. Small campers will mainly be found around the reception. This is where the swimming pools are located. They are not particularly large, but there are three in total: an outdoor pool, an indoor pool and a paddling pool. This means there is enough space for everyone.

Terrace with view

The restaurant is also located near the reception building and the swimming pools. The menu here is small - mainly fresh pizza is served - but the atmosphere is nice. The terrace is a lovely place to sit. Here too, the view over the valley is magnificent. Next to the terrace is the playground, where the children can let off steam while you enjoy a glass of wine.
