If you are looking for a good starting point for wonderful bicycle rides through the French countryside, Camping du Lion d'Angers, in the village with the same name and along the Oudon river, is an excellent option. This campsite is suitable for a longer stay but is also good as a stopover for cycling tourists following the long-distance bicycle route La Vélo Francette. A lot of equestrian enthusiasts also come to this campsite, which is located right across from a large racecourse. Camping du Lion d'Angers is also known for being quiet, small-scale and having friendly owners.

Well-kept touring pitches and mobile homes

This neatly kept campsite has two options for accommodations. You can stay overnight in a modern mobile home or on a spacious pitch in a green setting. Some touring pitches are specifically for tents (handy for those on a cycling or walking holiday), while other pitches are for campsite visitors with a caravan or motorhome. Are you planning to stay overnight at Camping du Lion d'Angers with your dog? If you stay at least one week, when you arrive, you will receive a special doggy package with dog waste bags, snacks and a toy.

Sporty entertainment and fun theme nights
