On this quiet 4-star campsite you'll find a heated swimming pool and a pleasant terrace. The restaurant cooks with organic local produce from local growers and growers.

Rural family campsite

On this rural family campsite the pitches are situated on sheltered lawns, surrounded by hedges and deciduous trees. The campsite is green, spacious and clearly laid out. The rental accommodations are situated together, just like the permanent pitches. The campsite consists mainly of touring pitches, which are grouped around the sanitary building. The pitches vary in size, ranging from spacious to very spacious. Because of the many hedges and shrubs, you are wonderfully sheltered and have a lot of privacy around your tent or caravan.

Swimming, jumping and sports

La Vallée des Vignes is, especially in high season, a great place for families. There are many facilities for children, such as a swimming pool with paddling pool, playground, bouncy castles and sports facilities. However, there is no entertainment programme.

A picnic on the river bank

On the edge of the campsite there is a large heated outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a spacious sun deck with sun loungers and parasols. There is a separate paddling pool for the little ones, which is also heated. It is beautifully situated in the full sun and adjacent to the restaurant's cosy sidewalk café. A path takes you to the river Layon. At the water's edge there are beautiful spots where you can fish and go for a picnic.

Liked - The campsite has large well maintained pitches, extremely clean toilets and showers and a fabulous team. The bar serves a good range of drinks and food. The pool is lovely
We enjoyed the organised activities such as bike rides and aqua fit
Disliked - A happy hour 6:30-7:30pm to encourage people to come to the bar, better promotion of the daily activities to get more people to sign up
Improved Wi-Fi around the site as mobile connectivity is poor
Evening activities to start and end earlier

Liked - A lovely, quiet and very peaceful site run by caring and friendly new owners. Lots of activities for children to keep them entrained and a nice pool to cool off during the hot summer days.
There is a bar that serves food to a good standard and there is also evening entertainment that was really enjoyable.
All of the staff are incredibly friendly and, despite my lack of ability to speak French, they were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
The communal toilet & shower facilities were regularly cleaned and spotless.
I would not hesitate to return!
Disliked - Some minor repairs around to pool is needed to replace a couple of damaged paving slabs.

Liked - This is such a lovely and relaxing place. It was quiet being the end of May but I was made so very welcome by all of the team. There is a great selection of pitches and it’s a 10 minute walk into the local village where there is a nice little bar / restaurant where I took morning coffee. Doue La Fontaine is 3km away and large Super U plus a weekly market on Mondays. I can’t thank you enough for making my holiday so relaxing

Liked - Het is een rustige schone camping. Er zijn veel speelplekken en het zwembad is lekker warm met altijd een bedje en parasolletje vrij. Ideaal als doorreiscamping.
Disliked - Er is geen winkel op loopafstand.
Voor tieners weinig te doen.

Liked - Lovely pool.
Option to choose pitch.
Big shady pitch - great in extreme temperatures.
Having bread available and delivered.
Peaceful.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked - Lack of soap at hand washing particularly while COVID 19 is still circulating.
Toilet roll dispensers but rarely any toilet roll available or accessible as it was stuck inside the dispensers.

Liked - Second time staying at this site and we again we weren't disappointed. It's a quiet campsite but with everything you need. Our pitch was fairly large with electric, water and waste. Small bar and restaurant plus a lovely pool that is never too busy. Sanitary block is modern, airy and always clean. Lots of play equipment for children. The owners are friendly and work extremely hard keeping everything clean. Our bread and croissant order was even delivered to our pitch each morning.
Would definitely return and recommend this site for couples and families.

Liked - Our friendly and unbelievably hardworking hosts ensured we had a relaxing and enjoyable long weekend. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful heated swimming pool, but the main advantage of this site must be the large, private and well-kept pitches. Wonderful - we hope to be back.
Disliked - We seemed to be given the only pitch without sufficient shade. We were offered the opportunity to switch, but our own laziness prevented it. Other than that, the hosts would do well to employ an additional person in the high season in order to open the reception and bar/restaurant more frequently.
