Camping d'Angers-Lac de Maine is a family campsite within cycling distance of Angers, capital of the Maine-et-Loire department. The campsite is situated on the Lac de Maine near a leisure park. Here you can camp in a park-like nature reserve ideal for walking and cycling tours. Children can also experience all sorts of things here.

Park-like campsite

The entrance gate and the reception area, like the other buildings on the campsite, look a little dated. However, they are in the process of renewing everything. For example, brand new chalets have already been installed. The older buildings that are still there do not detract from the beauty of the green, park-like campsite. Here you'll find around one hundred and fifty touring pitches, nicely delimited by hedges and shrubs. The touring pitches vary in size.

Lac de Maine

If you stay at camping d'Angers-Lac de Maine, you are only a few steps away from Lac de Maine, a vast recreational lake. Around the lake it is lovely to walk and cycle, and in the lake you can have a nice swim. In addition, you have the opportunity to surf, canoe and sail. Get in that sailing boat and enjoy the expansive water and the view of Angers, which protrudes above the trees in the background.

Swimming pool with whirlpool

f you prefer to swim in a swimming pool, you can do so at the campsite. Although not very special, the swimming pool is a nice place for an hour of water fun. You can completely relax in the whirlpool. Next to the swimming pool is a terrace.

Supermarket

For fresh sandwiches you can go to the reception. Within a five minute drive you are in front of a supermarket, ideal for the rest of the groceries.

Travelling party: Couple

Toller Platz. Die Stellplätze sind ein wenig zu eng geraten. Markise rausdrehen kann man vergessen oder es ist knapp an der Hecke. Die Umgebung an See ist super. Unser Hund hat die Umrundung am Rad genossen. Mit größeren Plätzen wären es 5 Sterne.

Travelling party: Seniors

Schön angelegter, gepflegter Platz an einem Naturschutzgebiet und an einem See mit großen Parkanlagen, in denen man wunderbar – nach einem langen Fahrtag – spazieren gehen kann. Der Campingplatz ist nicht nur für Zwischenübernachtungen bestens geeignet, auch in der Umgebung ist viel zu besichtigen: neben der Stadt Angers mit Kirchen und Museen gibt es etliche Schlösser.
