Camping Seasonova du Chêne is in the hospitable town of Saint-Julien-de-Concelles, just outside the large city of Nantes (Pays de la Loire region). This campsite is in the perfect location for visiting Nantes. You can drive to the centre in about 20 minutes and it takes just under an hour to cycle there. Moreover, the campsite is only a few kilometres from Loire à Vélo, the tourist cycle route along the Loire. The campsite has a peaceful character and is in a lovely setting, right by a recreational lake. Here, you can do all kinds of water sports, such as standup paddleboarding, windsurfing, kayaking and pedal boating. Fishing enthusiasts can cast a line in the lake.

Spacious touring pitches and various types of accommodation

Tourist camping pitches are in the majority at Camping Seasonova du Chêne. Pitches are available both in the sun as well as in the shade. You can also stay in a modern mobile home, a luxury lodge tent or an intimate bivouac tent. That last one is ideal for touring walking or cycling tourists. If you spend the night in such a tent or a standard touring pitch, you can use the modern and well-maintained toilet block in the middle of the site.

Go out for a delicious dinner at Le Kiosque by Bob

The charming restaurant Le Kiosque by Bob is on the outskirts of the campsite. The extensive menu has regional specialities, including many meat and fish dishes. You can also go grocery shopping nearby as there is a large supermarket a few hundred metres outside the campsite. The campsite itself has a convenient breakfast service.

Liked - We were made very welcome on arrival and given a nice big pitch.
The toilets and showers look new and were well maintained and clean.

Liked - We were made very welcome on arrival and given a good sized pitch near the recently refurbished toilet block. It's a lovely area for walking and cycling.
Disliked - At present further improvements to the site are in progress, please don't convert all your touring caravan pitches into chalets.

Liked - Lake, nice hot showers in a warmed space, naar Carquefou tram terminus to visit Nantes, very friendly
Disliked - Gate close at 22 pm, WiFi zone not present but in camping description online, swimming pool closed early at 6.30 pm when we returned from visits

Liked - Location is perfect, facilities are very good, staff helpful and friendly. Great cycle routes, close to town, cafe and supermarket. Lake and park are beautiful.
Disliked - Improvements are in progress, will be even better when finished.

Liked - Our granddaughter LOVED the pool
It was good to stay in one place for several days after a lot of travel this summer
Disliked - A regular supply of toilet paper in the toilet block and toilet paper dispensers in EACH cubicle plus a soap to wash hands after visiting the toilet

Liked - Close to our destination
Disliked - Be at reception when you ask people to arrive- as asked to arrive at 3.30 and reception was closed.
Show people to pitches as no numbers and left to find own spot.
Toilet, shower block needs updating - no signs, bugs covering all sink wash areas.
