Fancy a nice beach holiday just across the border? The French town of Dunkirk, full of history, is ideal for this. Walk directly from La Licorne Campsite via the dunes to the beach or stroll along the boulevard with an ice cream. Are you on your way to the ferry to Dover? Then this is also an excellent stopover for one or more days. The campsite is located on the outskirts of Dunkirk, and a bus stops in front of the entrance and takes you to the centre for free.

Via a dune path to the beach

The campsite's location is perfect for a beach holiday in any season. You can reach the beach easily and quickly via a nice path through the dunes. In summer, you will find many families who come here to enjoy a week's beach holiday. But even in the low season, it is ideal for getting a breath of fresh air by the sea or for taking a walk on the boulevard. Do you also want to swim outside the beach season? Then take a dip in Dunkirk's indoor swimming pool, which is located 3 kilometres from the campsite.

Sporty by the sea

There is no special entertainment for families with young children. There are two playgrounds, a recreation room, table tennis and a sports field. But with all the entertainment offered by the beach and the sea, there is plenty to do. You can surf, sup, blokart or kitesurf. You can also enjoy a visit to the harbour museum or the Tourville Shipyard where you can admire historic ships.

"This campsite is located in the dunes, two steps from the sea. Nice beach. Extensive grounds with lots of entertainment. Restaurant and bar, shops, supermarkets 300 metres away. The centre of Dunkirk is 4 km away. Very suitable as a transit campsite."

Der beste Campingplatz den wir bis jetzt gesehen haben. Sauber, freundlich, Top-Lage, Perfekt für Kinder. Der Strand ist ein Traum.

Schöner ruhiger Platz mit allem was man braucht. Toller Strand, Hunde erlaubt. Zu Fuß Einkaufsmöglichkeiten erreichbar. Parzellen teilweise durch Hecken aufgeteilt.

Schöner Campingplatz am Meer mit endlosen Strand, Strom und Wasseranschluss, große Parzellen, Hunde zugelassen, großer Strandabschnitt für Hunde,
Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht, Sanitäranlagen werden mehrmals täglich gereinigt.
Zugang zum Strand über Kodiertes Tor.
Sehr empfehlenswert.
