In the Haute-Garonne region of southern France, south of Toulouse, you can find Sites & Paysages Le Moulin. You'll end up here on a well-tended green campsite on the banks of the Garonne. Camping Le Moulin is a real family campsite. There are many play opportunities for children, as well as a large swimming pool and a petting zoo.

Martres-Tolosane is a charming French town one hour's drive from Toulouse. Driving across the canal in the village, turn left to drive to the campground. Just down the road, you can already see the reception in a beautiful authentic barn.

Southern French charm

In total, there are sixty touring pitches and forty rental accommodations. These are all screened with nice thick hedges. Numerous colourful flower boxes, fragrant lavender bushes and large trees provide colour and shelter. In the authentic buildings, you will find modern and well-kept facilities. There is also a good restaurant in the stylishly restored part of the old barn.

A large percentage of the campers consists of Western European families. The children will have a great time with the bouncy castles, go-karts, an arcade and a petting zoo. The modern pool, to the right of the entrance, has a nice view of the mountains through the trees. A path through the woods to the rear of the campsite leads to the Garonne river. Here you can enjoy paddling, casting a fishing rod or canoeing. From the campsite, you can reach the archaeological theme park of Le Village Gaulois in fifteen minutes or the university town of Toulouse in an hour.

Liked - We arrived late, but it wasn’t a problem. The reception inmediately gave is a nice place.

Liked - Our 3 year old was super happy at the swimming pool, trampoline and games.
Disliked - Don't trust the pictures of the pitch in the web!We booked a standard pitch with electricity, it was supposed to be between 80-100m2. The pitch was narrow, with roots and it had no grass (as we saw on the photo). It wasn't flat and we had the electricity/water post in our pitch, so many people visited us during the day, watering part of our pitch. We asked for a change and they said there were no more pitches left. We paid mlre than 50euros the night.

Liked - Een prachtige groene camping.
Mooi (privé)sanitair.
Schoon.
Rustig.
Mooi zwembad met glijbanen.
Aan de rivier de Garonne om in te zwemmen en spelen.
Personeel spreekt over het algemeen goed Engels.
Disliked - De animatie is volledig in het Frans. Dat nodigt niet uit om deel te nemen.
De locatie van de camping ligt in 'the middle of nowhere', dus voor al je externe activiteiten moet je minimaal een uur rijden. Daarbuiten zijn dan ook geweldige steden, bergen en grotten te vinden.

Liked - Kids play facilities, pool, pich size (we had an xl one), evening entertainment was inclusive, mix of nationalities, farm animals, easy cycle to nearest town with kids, bar area, hammocks by pool, soiree night, desserts
Disliked - More regular cleaning of sanitary block (more than once or twice a day)

Liked - The chilled and laid back atmosphere was perfect. The availability of lots for kids to do, great pitch size, ground and shade. Great staff who were very friendly and helpful. We had a great holiday. We loved hiring the bikes, playing in the pool. We were introduced to Molkie by Josh and we loved that!! The live music and food carts were a lovely addition and we really enjoyed the quiz nights the best.

Liked - Lots of things to do for kids; the swimming pool was a particular favourite.
Disliked - No rules at all so very noisy- shouting/ loud music/ loud talking until 12-1am- including children walking around. Also in terms of health and safety- the pool has a small black margin which is very slippery- my partner slipped and fell in the pool ending up with a massive bruise on the back of his leg and there was a trap door mostly open in the pool area flanked by a few chairs. The basketball court was opposite our plot so we had to put up with teenagers playing until 11.30pm. We left early in the end and booked an extra hotel night on our way back.
