Camping Pré Fixe is a small-scale campsite in the south of France, close to the Pyrenees. Its well-maintained pitches are located on well-kept terraces surrounded by greenery. Everything here is equally well appointed: from the heated outdoor pool and the wine bar to the beautiful terrace and the sanitary facilities. Take a seat at a table on the terrace and sample French wines and a meal made from fresh, local products.

Well-kept, naturally terraced campsite

At the end of the driveway appears the campsite, which is set against the slope of a hill and runs downward. Especially striking is the natural tranquillity that predominates over the grounds. Campers looking for a sense of peace and relaxation will therefore appreciate this campsite. Thirty-two spacious, well-kept touring pitches are located on different terraces, between thick hedges and in the shade of trees.

Glamping

A lower part of the campsite features some glamping tents: luxury lodge tents and cosy wigwams. You can also stay in the spacious eco-chalets for a luxury camping holiday. The most beautiful spots, both camping pitches and rental accommodations, offer views of the high mountains of the Pyrenees.

Heated and well-maintained pool

To the left of the entrance is the heated pool. This has the natural shape of a puddle; that is, it is not rectangular, but rather slightly rounder. The shrubs, the grass all around, the ornamented walls: everything by the pool looks equally well cared for and all contributes to the feeling of pure relaxation. The entire pool area is surrounded by a fence to provide security. This ensures that the youngest campers can't just venture into the water.

Liked - The campsite was excellent with a large pitch with enough shadow. The relatively small scale made it perfect to stay with our younger children (5 and 6). We especially appreciated the interaction with the other guests in the central restaurant area and swimming pool. The owners work very hard and are helpful when it comes to accommodating vegetarian food and calling local activities. Our kids loved the Kapla and trampoline, we liked the jacuzzi and excellent choices of wine!
Disliked - The jacuzzi had weekly maintenance and a sign on the door when this was the case, might be good to announce this at the reception so you know what days it will be upfront

Liked - We had a fantastic couple of days stay here. A beautifully clean well kept site, with some lovely touches. We ate in the restaurant both nights and had wonderful food made with fresh local produce. Would highly recommend this site for a peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings. Very friendly owners.

Liked - The atmosphere at the camp site is very relaxed, the trees and bushes fencing the pits and lodges are very mature, giving enough privacy. We had, from our cabin a stunning view on the Pyrenees.

Liked - Really peaceful site. Accommodation in the glamping pod was fantastic. Everything you need, beautiful shower and comfy bed and views across the fields and snow topped Pyrenees in the distance. Bread can be ordered the day before. Hosts were really friendly and helpful.10 out of 10!!!

Liked - We loved everything about this amazing place. The campsite is pristinely clean and well cared for. You have just the right amount of privacy, yet feel part of a camping community, sharing the pool with other like-minded Europeans. The reception staff were always helpful and gave us any help or advice we needed, kindly booking activities for us, as our French is so terrible and their English is brilliant. We ate in the restaurant one night, and my husband and I loved the traditional French food, which was nice for a change. We would highly recommend this site.
Disliked - We didn't dislike anything but one bit of catering advice would be to offer melon or olives as a starter for children.
