Holiday Park 'La Draille' is located on the border of the Dordogne and Lot, in a hilly nature reserve. You'll find the campsite in the green valley of the river Borrèze, where you camp in peace on shady touring pitches. Holiday park 'La Draille' is a Christian campsite; campers can go to church services and sing-ins every week.

Camping at the Borrèze

On the natural campsite, surrounded by hills, there are 146 touring pitches. These spacious pitches are situated between laurel bushes and in the shade of numerous trees that colour the valley of the Borrèze. There are also spots to choose from along the river itself. The terrain lies against the hillside and slopes slightly upwards. Some camping pitches and rental accommodations are situated on higher terraces. The range of holiday homes is extensive: choose from various types of mobile homes and chalets.

Children playing

Walk in a parade with Chinese lanterns over the campsite, slidie down the soap slide or sit together around the campfire: in the summer months there is a lot to do at 'La Draille' Holiday Park. Especially for children, who can take part in sports tournaments or discover all the playing possibilities on their own. Playgrounds, a bouncy castle, a cable way and various 'chill places'. They will find something to do everywhere. And then there's also a large, rectangular swimming pool.

Chez Nous

Chez Nous is the campsite's charming restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is attractive, but sitting on the pavement café is especially beautiful. Under large grape vines you can taste wine and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Travelling party: Young couple

Normaal schrijf ik nooit een review, maar deze keer vond ik het wel nodig. Ik kampeer al m’n hele leven, maar wat ik dit jaar heb meegemaakt was voor mij de eerste (en hopelijk laaste) keer.. Ik ben dit jaar voor het eerst samen met mijn partner gaan kamperen. Dat betekende dus ook dat we daarom alles nieuw hadden gekocht. Helaas hadden we last van een muizenplaag op de camping. Mede kampeerders hadden er eveneens last van. Bij de receptie zijn er meerdere meldingen gemaakt, waarna wordt gezegd dat dat komt door het boerenlandschap. Toch had ik dit nog niet eerder meegemaakt.. Ik vermoed eerder dat de afvalzakken die op de camping neergezet worden door het personeel eerder de oorzaak hiervan zijn. Prullenbakken die niet leeggehaald worden… nieuwe spullen van ons zijn kapot geknaagd door de muizen terwijl hier geen eten te vinden was, maar ook zat de tent steeds onder de muizenpis en -keutels. Het water in het zwembad was overigens ook erg vies. De bodem was niet eens te zien in het ondiepe gedeelte. In het toiletgebouw zat schimmel en de ventilatie in het toiletgebouw zat vol met stof. Vanzelfsprekend is dit dus toe aan vernieuwing... Of misschien toch beter schoonhouden. Het is heel fijn dat er bij de toiletten vermeld staat dat ze 10.000 hebben geïnvesteerd in beter toiletpapier, maar had liever gehad dat ze dat ergens anders in zouden investeren. Kozijnen van de deuren rotten inmiddels ook weg. Dit helpt vast niet mee aan de hygiëne op de camping. Wij hadden ook last van klachten, oorpijn, maagpijn etc.. Er waren meerdere momenten op de camping dat er ook geen heet water meer was. Erg vervelend als je lekker wil gaan douchen of de vaat wil doen.. De pizza is ook niet aan te raden: het was een kant-en-klare bodem, te hard en te weinig belegd. Het frituurvet is overigens ook aan vervanging toe… De leiding en toezicht op de medewerkers mag dus wel wat scherper. De omgeving is overigens prachtig, maar ik zou dan echt een andere camping opzoeken in de buurt.
