In the valley of the Lot, directly on the banks of the river and near the medieval Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, you will find Camping Paradis de la Plage. Here you can camp on a touring pitch between the trees and at the water's edge. Via a small gate you reach the beach and the river. The campsite is a real family campsite with lots of entertainment: from volleyball tournaments to movie nights.

Camping in the green

Because of the many greenery and full trees, the campsite looks a bit like a park. Between the trees are about a hundred touring pitches. Your pitch is nicely sheltered between hedges and shrubs. Some overlook the river or the rocky plateaus that surround the Lot valley. In addition to touring pitches, you'll also find some rental accommodation on the campsite. These safari tents and bungalows are not particularly new anymore, but are well maintained.

Swimming in the river

The location of the campsite is his business card. From the campsite you walk through a gate to the beach on the Lot. All children are equally safe: in front of the gate you need a code, while the beach is guarded. You can take a nice dive in the river, but you can also go up the river by canoe or pedal boat. By the way, you have to share the beach with day trippers from the neighborhood.

Restaurant with regional products

At the front of the campsite is the restaurant. Not for nothing this is called in the camping name: it may be small, but the food is delicious. The menu is quite extensive: you can go there for a three-course dinner, but also for a tasty homemade pizza.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - We liked the private Sanitary facility. The outside sink unit was very useful. We did not use the hotplate nor the fridge. The pitch was a good size and thankfully the ground was in good condition for so late in the season. Our limited interaction with staff was positive. I was left with two niggles, firstly the price we paid ACSI was incorrect on their part & we ended up paying more, secondly we had to give a 220 euro bond for the pitch and facilities & no one would check prior to our leaving & stated it would be checked later in the day. I could understand that perhaps in high season
Disliked - A little more clarity about price which l will address with ACSI.

Liked - A lovely campsite. The staff were friendly, it was quiet, clean and safe. The food and drinks at the snack bar were excellent especially the pizzas. Brilliant play area and the kids felt safe enough to wander about to and from the refreshing river. The area is absolutely beautiful

Liked - Quiet. Superb location. Very clean and tidy. Sanitary units were great. Nice showers and toilets. Very good size pitch (but overripe mulberries on the ground that had fallen off nearby mulberry trees were a bit smelly!!) We would be very happy to return but ask for a pitch not under mulberry trees!

Swimming in the river, SUP'ing, hiking, or just visiting the beautiful nearby old town "Saint-Cirq-Lapopie".

Liked - Delightful camping next to river beach. Good sized pitches most with shade. Clean facilities. Lovely area with plenty to see and do
Disliked - Some confusion about our pitch allocation. The electricity point was too far away. It was very small although I have given the size of our tent, and booked months ago. There were a lot of empty pitches, so why give us a small one away from the electricity point?
