On the outskirts of Lourdes and at the foot of the Pyrenees, you’ll find the Camping D'Arrouach; an ideal base for excursions to the famous pilgrimage site. The tarrain of this simple, but very well-maintained campsite is laid out around a restored farmhouse on top of a hill. The farm, the restaurant, the sanitary building: everything is equally well-maintained. From the spacious pitches you have a view of the Pyrenees.

View of the Pyrenees

Around the stately farmhouse is the hilly campsite. You have a view of the mountains from the flat, delimited pitches. The various rental accommodations, situated on terraces, also have a view of the Pyrenees. These mobile homes and Coco Sweet lodge tents are nicely integrated in the terrain.

Lake Lourdes

The campsite does not have a swimming pool, but within walking distance (1.5 km) you’ll find Lake Lourdes. The lake can be reached via a dirt road through the meadows. Here you can have a lovely swim. Further on, in the river, you can go fishing, kayaking and rafting.

Attractive restaurant with local products

Next to the reception, in an old outbuilding of the farm, you will find the sanitary facilities, the recreation room and the campsite restaurant. Although the menu is not very extensive, you can enjoy a delicious meal. Fabian is a good cook who uses only local products for his delicacies. You can also enjoy a drink at the bar in the attractive restaurant. In the main building there are also some local products for sale. You will also find the fitness room and sauna there.

Liked - Pitch size was good, site was clean, facilities good / clean, easy check in , Wi-Fi reliable, secured with barrier access, safe , quiet, lovely pool
Disliked - The view is spectacular but from the pool side, or limited pitches, our pitch had no view whatsoever , seems a waste when the ground on the other side only had 2 tents and loads of space, tried to buy drinks in the evening but the lady on the bar was short and rude - too busy to serve 2 drinks told to wait in an abrupt manner, given there are no other facilities at that time of night without driving this was poor

Disliked - Not the campsites fault but there were just so many flies so bring lots of repellent.

Liked - Very stylish accommodation, sublime experience having breakfast delivered, taking breakfast on the decking with stunning views of the Pyrenean mountains. Especially enjoyed the giant bath.

Liked - Reception owner was very pleasant spoke English and many other languages (Amazing) very informative bus stop a short walk straight into Lourdes centre and the Santaries (Grotto) campsite was very clean very peaceful ordered bread and croissant every morning to reception would highly recommend this site to tour Lourdes or as an overnight stop over if you are travelling on route to Spain
Disliked - It had rained a lot so ground was very boggy but this is beyond the site owners control I’m sure they are sick and tired of the rain also.
