Lac de Thoux-St. Cricq Campsite is located in a quiet area in the Midi-Pyrénées region, between the cities of Toulouse and Auch. This region, known for its dry and sunny summers, is an ideal summer destination. Thanks to its location on the lake of the same name, this family campsite is a perfect base for water sports enthusiasts and campers who like to fish. An entertainment team provides entertainment for young and old alike.

Spacious pitches and good sanitary facilities

The campsite is located on a gently sloping terrain. The 94 spacious pitches (100 - 150m2) are located on grassland, situated between trees and shrubs. For the best view, book one of the unique touring pitches or luxury accommodations on the lake. The campsite rents camping pitches, various luxury tents and mobile homes. The clean and modern sanitary facilities are fully equipped and are a major plus for many camping guests.

Water sports and recreation

What is special about this campsite is that it is located directly on Lac de Thoux-Saint-Cricq. It is nice to be in and on the clear water, especially during the summer. Close to the campsite you will find a water sports school that rents out surfboards, canoes, boats and pedal boats, among other things. You might even take your first sailing or surfing lesson here. Fishing enthusiasts can cast their line here and sun worshippers have plenty of space on the nice sandy beach.

For even more water recreation activities, there is a large aqua park just next to the campsite with all kinds of waterslides and whirlpools. The pool also has some shallow parts and is therefore perfect for young children. Because the swimming pool is located in a separate part of the campsite, it is nice and quiet on the campsite itself.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Emplacement sympa au milieu des arbres et proche du lac qui donnait le sentiment d’être en plein nature. Parfait pour les enfants qui se sentaient libre d’explorer. La piscine intérieur/extérieur était tres sympa et les enfants se sont bien amusés. Personnel souriants et accueillants. Camping proche de Toulouse - nous pouvons venir facilement pour le week-end. Nous reviendrons !
Disliked - C’est dommage que l’accueil ferme si tôt le soir. Heureusement on est venu avec des copains qui ont pu prendre le code et nos bracelets pour la piscine pour notre arrivé (après 19h15). Les vestiaires de la piscine ont besoin d’être nettoyer un peu plus.

Liked - La tente lodge offre une vue directe sur le lac et cette agréable sensation de calme, de décompression, d’ailleurs. Entre chalet suisse, aventures canadiennes et safari africain. On y trouve tout les équipements souhaités, voire bien plus, et une literie particulièrement confortable. La petite terrasse/canapé donnerait envie de rattraper tout son retard de lecture et de farniente…. Comme nous n’avons pas eu le temps de profiter du volet loisirs, nous reviendrons forcément.
Disliked - Ce n’est pas une révélation et n’y voyons là aucune responsabilité de l’établissement : :compte tenu de la relative proximité des emplacements, le silence nocturne dépend exclusivement du savoir être des voisins et/ou de l’âge de leurs enfants. Dans un camping, on n’est jamais seuls et c’est bien comme ça.

Liked - la tranquillité, l'accueil, le camping arboré, la piscine propre et calme en septembre. Un grand merci à Antonin et à son équipe encore présente sur le site en septembre. Ce séjour restera parmi nos meilleurs séjours .
Disliked - La disposition des 3 mobilhomes côte-côte gêne l'intimité...même si nos voisins étaient charmants.
