Amidst the pristine nature of the Pyrenees you can spend your holidays in this well maintained oasis of peace and quiet. You camp here on the banks of the Lac de la Selve reservoir, near the town of Laguiole. The small campsite De la Romiguière lies in its full width in the bay of the reservoir. The Midi-Pyrenees region is characterised by forests, nature and agriculture. The lake is directly accessible to camping guests. Diving, swimming and boating are allowed.

Sand and grass

The terrain consists of grass (hard surface) interspersed with some sand. Hedges and trees can be seen everywhere. The 33 demarcated pitches vary in size. The terrain is not entirely level. The twenty rental caravans are modest, but well equipped. Your neighbours are sporty water and nature lovers.

The swimming pool or the lake

There is a heated swimming pool (open from mid-June to mid-September) of 145 m2, with tiny toddler pool. This can be found near the reception and the bar. Swimming is mostly done in the lake, however. The beach strip is partly made of grass and partly of sand. Beach showers are available. The lake can be reached from the full width of the campsite.

Terrace with sunset

The shop has a limited range. However, fresh bread is available on a daily basis. The modest, but large restaurant offers a view of the lake. In addition, there is a snack bar, a pizzeria and a bar. In the evenings when the sun sets, the panorama from the terrace is magical: the evening light over the water creates a magnificent contrast with the dark mountains.

Liked - Heerlijk ontspannen sfeer midden in de natuur. . En in de omgeving mooie dingen kunnen zien en heerlijk kunnen eten en drinken. Het meer pal voor de deur geeft echt een extra dimensie aan je vakantie.
Disliked - Voor mijn tienerdochter van 13 was het net even te rustig en geen georganiseerde activiteiten voor deze doelgroep.

Liked - This was our first time camping abroad. We arrived later than scheduled, but had the most welcome greeting. Our pitch was perfect, shaded and over looking the beautiful lake. The facilities were good. Plenty for the children to do. The bar staff were very welcoming and polite even though we didn't speak much french. We regret only booking 2 nights and would loved to have stayed longer. We will definitely come back and stay much longer next time. The site was so tranquil and well kept

Liked - Le cadre au bord du lac
Disliked - Le côté psychorigide du propriétaires, qui s'adresse sèchement au client s'il a quelque chose contre vous (quoi on cherche encore), le manque de vaisselle et couverts (uniquement 5 de chaque, qu'en est-il si on a besoin de plus pour cuisiner sans devoir à chaque fois laver ??), la planche à découper toute petite (pour 5 personnes c'est très limite), les sanitaires pas très propres, le coût du ménage (50€ !) pour passer un coup de balais c'est cher payé car en plus on doit nettoyer le micro ondes, éteindre le frigo, bref tout faire pour eux ...
