In the southern French Aveyron, on the banks of the Lot River, lies Camping Marmotel. Bordering two nature parks and surrounded by rolling hills and lots of greenery, this is a wonderful place for nature lovers. The family campsite offers rental accommodations and spacious camping sites, mostly in the shade. There are also spots with private sanitary facilities. Many amenities can be found in the village of Saint-Geniez-d'Olt.

Shade and private sanitary facilities

Camping Marmotel looks well maintained. At the front of the site, the mobile homes and chalets are located. Further on are the camping pitches and at the very back – towards the river – there is a new section with many pitches including private sanitary facilities. The pitches are spacious and benefit from the shelter of trees. All the pitches are situated on a grassy field, and a one-and-a-half metre high hedge provides sufficient privacy.

Hit the dance floor

In the village of Saint-Geniez-d'Olt, you will find most of the amenities you could need, such as a supermarket and some restaurants. Still, there is more than enough to do at the campsite itself. For example, you can visit a restaurant-snack bar with a large terrace. For the children, there is a fun playground. In the high season, the entertainment team organises many activities for young and old. For example, there are sports tournaments during the day, and the evenings are filled with dancing, karaoke or quizzes.

Swimming, sliding and sunbathing

From the terrace, you can already see the heated outdoor pool. The swimming pool catches the sun and is surrounded by a generous sunbathing area. For real water fun, there is a slide, and for the little campers, there is a paddling pool. You can also entertain yourself on and in the river.
