Flower Camping Lac aux Oiseaux is a family campsite in the Aveyron, located on the edge of the Parc Naturel Régional des Causses du Quercy. With its covered outdoor swimming pool with water slides and its high altitude course, this campsite is ideal for families with children. But nature lovers will also enjoy the campsite, situated directly on a large lake in a nature reserve. A great destination for camping.

Potential beauty

Due to various renovation works, the beauty of the campsite is not shown to advantage yet, but it certainly has potential. The site is situated in the middle of nature, next to a large lake. The more than sixty touring pitches have an average size. You can also choose from one of the mobile homes or family tents.

Indoor swimming pool with slides

The swimming pool is one of the things on the campsite that has been renovated. It is rectangular and covered by a sliding roof. So you can swim whatever the weather. Next to it a smaller pool with a few large water slides.

Villefranche-de-Rouergue

The campsite restaurant is situated next to the ruins of an old mill. It serves small delicacies. For fresh bread you have to go to the village of Martiel, about three kilometres from the campsite. A larger supermarket can be found in Villefranche-de-Rouergue. Within a quarter of an hour's drive you're in the centre of this old town, where especially the Notre Dame church is worth a visit.

Liked - Dommage que ce fut le soir d'un mariage. véhicules qui ont circulé toutes la nuit. Apparemment ils ne connaissaient pas la règle de je roule à 10Km/H. Une nuit qui n'a pas été de tout repos !
Dommage car le camping est super dans un joli cadre, le personnel sympathique et accueillant, les sanitaires très propres. Le plaisir au matin d'avoir vu un écureuil gambader gaiement !
Donc on ne restera pas sur cet expérience et comptons revenir à l'occasion.

Liked - Nous avons passé un superbe séjour, le camping est très agréable, familial, le personnel adorable et sympathique, et la mini ferme et le partage autour des animaux ont été un plus pour nos enfants. La tranquilité de l'endroit, le bord du lac nous ont permis de profiter pleinement de notre repos et nos vacances. Tellement de belles choses à voir autour, et pas assez de temps pour tout découvrir,qu'il ne serait pas impossible que l'on revienne dans le coin

Liked - Le mercredi soir, il y a le nourrissage des animaux de la mini ferme. La personne explique l'histoire des animaux, leur alimentation,... C'était très intéressant. Le camping est bien équipé avec une aire de jeux pour les enfants, terrain de sport, tables de ping pong et terrain de pétanque. La piscine est grande par rapport à la taille du camping. Le personnel est très gentil. Le pain et les viennoiseries sont très bons. La literie est bonne.
Disliked - Les transats abîmés à la piscine ne donnent pas une très bonne image. Nous avons été surpris que les shorts de bain soient acceptés à la piscine. Nous étions à côté du barbecue, les gens mettaient leur musique donc nous n'étions pas vraiment au calme. Les voitures peuvent circuler de 7h à 23h dans le camping mais beaucoup ne le respectent pas. Les voitures circulaient bien après 23h. C'est bien dommage que les gens ne respectent pas et n'aient pas davantage de savoir vivre.
