In the beautiful Midi-Pyrénées, near the town of Seix, lies the French Le Haut Salat Campsite. Enjoy the sun, the mountains and the Salat River in the so-called gateway to the Pyrenees. Here you will camp five hundred meters above sea level with breathtaking views. A wonderful base for a relaxing or sporting holiday - whatever you feel like.

Beautiful route to your camping spot

Take the A64 toward Saint-Girons, a pleasant route to drive. Fun fact for in the car: this road is regularly used by the cyclists of the Tour de France. The campsite is hidden behind some green space but is still easy to find. And although you are in the mountains, the campsite is nice and flat.

A long driveway takes you to the reception area, located next to the heated pool. This is located between a playing field and the bar. The available pitches are spacious and surrounded by a hedge. The deciduous trees provide the necessary shade. Don't have your own camping equipment? There are several types of rental accommodations available at Le Haut Salat Campsite.

Grab a bite

Didn't manage to fish a trout out of the Salat? Or would you just prefer something else? With a snack bar and pizzeria, there is always a tasty snack to be had! You can also enjoy fresh bread every morning. The children can have fun on the playground or the sports field before dinner. Take a walk to the village of Seix or ask reception about the beautiful bicycle routes in the area.

Liked - Well located campsite, right next to the village of Seix and ideal for excursions. It is small and very quiet, at 11pm everyone is really asleep. You have a fantastic river to play and soak in. We have been in the pitch for 2 weeks, the 10th has a lot of shade! Very friendly and attentive staff. I ... . Clean and new toilets. There are chickens and sheeps that you can get close to. We have been very happy for 2 weeks.
Disliked - would have liked a little more camping warmth, maybe a ping-pong or pétanque tournament.
The pool is small and often used if the weather permits.
No toilet paper, you have to bring your WC paper (I didn't find this info in the website).
