Campsite Le Vaurette is located on the northern bank of the Dordogne, near the village of Argentat. From the green campsite you have a view of the wooded hills, which border the Dordogne valley. Many Dutch campers will find a camping spot directly by the river or closer to the hills. The Dordogne is a source of entertainment for young and old.

At the small reception, which is next to a attractive bar, you will probably be welcomed by the daughter of the Dutch owner. Although she was born and raised in France, she speaks Dutch pretty well.
Camping on the Dordogne
The gently flowing Dordogne on one side, hills covered with forests on the other: the campsite Le Vaurette is situated on a beautiful spot in the Corrèze. There is a wide variety of touring pitches. They are all spacious and have a well-maintained grass surface, but the view from the pitches is different everywhere. From some places you look out over the fields. Other touring pitches are in the shade of tall trees, which form the beginning of the surrounding hills. You can also camp directly on the Dordogne, under low hanging trees.
Swimming pool
The swimming pool is surrounded by shrubs and the benevolent green of the wooded hills, but is itself in a sunny spot. The whole family can enjoy a cool dip here: children splash around in the spacious paddling pool or the shallow part of the pool, while the parents can also sunbathe in a deck chair. The area is beautifully decorated with rocks, thatched parasols and flowers.
