On the outskirts of Villedieu-les-Poêles, a historic town of bell foundry and coppersmithing, you'll find Camping Les Chevaliers de Malte. This well-kept city campsite has friendly owners. The spacious touring pitches have grassy ground and are delimited by hedges. There is also plenty to do for children: swimming in the heated outdoor pool or jumping in the bouncy castle.

A city campsite in the green

Camping Les Chevaliers de Malte is the proof that a city campsite can also be very green and doesn't have to be full of asphalt or concrete at all. The almost eighty spacious touring pitches are situated on beautifully tended lawns between many trees. This, together with the orderly arrangement of the pitches, gives the campsite a calm appearance. It ensures that you can camp comfortably in quiet surroundings close to the city. The small river that runs along the campsite, La Sienne, gives the campsite extra charm.

Bouncing and swimming

Children don't have to be bored at the campsite. On the contrary: they bounce into the holiday spirit when they discover the trampoline and the bouncy castle. They can also roll over in the heated outdoor swimming pool, located near the entrance. The pool is rectangular and quite large. On the opposite pavement café you can enjoy a french fry or a drink.

Well-facilitated

With its small restaurant, small shop and clean sanitary facilities, camping Les Chevaliers de Malte is a well-facilitated city campsite. And everything you can't find on the campsite is nearby. A large supermarket for example, a walk of just a few minutes away and several restaurants in the city centre.

Flat, grassy pitch. Not too shaded by trees. Water and electricity on the pitch.

Liked - The location close to the centre of Villedieu-les-Poêles is excellent.
Disliked - Install more electric hook up points, we have a long (25metre) cable but had to borrow an extension lead from reception. There were too many cables stretching across many pitches and access roads.
Also, definitely more recycling and rubbish bins are needed!
