For a real French beach holiday on the Normandy coast, the pleasant Camping Sandaya Côte de Nacre is the place to be. The beach is within walking distance, there is a swimming paradise with slides and you can let yourself be pampered in the spa. In the summer holidays, the enthusiastic entertainment team ensures fun for young and old.

Sheltered by greenery

You arrive on a lively site with more than 140 camping pitches and 340 mobile homes. The reception, swimming pool and restaurant are situated at the beginning of the site. The campsite is situated on well-maintained grounds with excellent facilities. The pitches are spacious and set between high hedges. So you can sit here in the shade.

Entertainment and wellness

In the school holidays, many families with children find this campsite. With a water park, playground, climbing wall, sports fields and bouncy castles, children never tire of playing here. And thanks to the kids club, junior club and teens club, they easily meet other children of their own age. There are also plenty of activities for adults, such as aqua gym, fitness, yoga or fun evenings. Or go for an afternoon of relaxation in the sauna or hammam.

Swimming paradise with slides

From approximately mid-June to the end of August, the outdoor pool is open. And by outdoor pool, we mean a complete swimming paradise with slides, a wild water river, whirlpools and waterfalls. Great for summer water fun! The swimming pool is located right behind the restaurant terrace, so you will find all the pleasant meeting places close to each other here. Swimming in the sea is also possible. You can walk through the village to the sandy beach in ten minutes.

Travelling party: Couple

A TERRIBLE stopover on an awful pitch. We used this site as Bella Riva is closed for a quick ferry stop. This site was next closest but what a mistake. We were given a pitch (197) right next to a board walkthrough. It has to be the noisiest pitch we’ve ever been on with kids bouncing balls along it at 10:30pm! Other pitches very close and lots of dogs barking/people being very noisy well after 11pm. Access roads on the inner circle are extremely tight, in fact there is a tree with chunks out of it presumably from top of motorhomes, which has warning yellow tape around it. For goodness sake why not take the tree down if it’s a danger to people’s property? One of the most expensive sites we’ve been on and we had to book 2 nights. ACSI rate this 5*, I give it 3 as a caravanner.

Travelling party: Seniors

Very large campsite. Good size pitches, some with shade, but narrow roads and no one way system. Staff disinterested during check-in and subsequently. 2 sanitary blocks, one much larger and more modern, but both had limited hot water for showers and washing up.

Would have been excellent but for the unpleasant lady at reception.who rejected I couple because the asked why the reception was hours late opening !!! She told them to go “ we do not want you “ . Dreadful individual
