Lovely grounds
There is ample space for many guests on the beautiful site. Tents and caravans are kept separate from the camper vans. All pitches are more or less the same size. The campsite has new bungalows for rent. They have been placed in such a manner that several families can stay here together. In high season the campsite is frequented by families with children whereas in low season there are many senior citizens.
Wellness facilities and activities
Near the heated swimming pool is a terrace where you can order drinks and snacks. The spa, sauna and jacuzzi are very popular with guests. Children will not get bored in the pirate playgrounds. In the small camping shop you will find the basic necessities. Across the campsite you will find several large supermarkets. In high season several activities are organised for guests.
D-Day and beach excursions
You can exit the campsite via a gate with a code, so that you can go for a walk or cycling along the canal to the renowned Pegasus bridge. This bridge was recaptured by British units in the night of 5/6 June 1944, who herewith created an important link for the invasion units.
The landing area Sword Beach was one of the main landing areas during D-Day. The campsite organises regular excursions to the landing beaches for guests.
