Next to the park-like estate of a castle, on the border of the departments of Calvados and Eure, you’ll find campsite Le Colombier. Here you camp in the green countryside of Normandy, between woods and apple orchards. The Normandy half-timbered houses in which the reception and épicerie are located make the site a cheerful place. With play areas, beautiful nature and calvados distilleries nearby, this campsite is suitable for the whole family.

Peace and space

On the campsite you will only find touring pitches. These are spacious and flat. From the pitches you can look far ahead over the spacious lawns, which are enclosed by tall trees. Peace and quiet prevail here: you are far away from busy roads and tourist cities. The campsite is next to the estate of a castle. This estate is no longer accessible to camping guests. A pity, because the park-like castle gardens are beautifully landscaped. Especially the private swimming pool, situated at the foot of a turret and between tightly cut lawns, is a picture.

Young and old sports enthusiasts

Young and older sports enthusiasts will have a great time at the campsite. You can play football and basketball on the multi-sports field. Next to it is the playground and a little further on there are some table tennis tables. On the mini-golf course the whole family can play a game of golf.

Calvados and cider

There is a small shop on the campsite. For the nearest larger supermarket you have to drive ten minutes to the north. Calvados is of course the region of the well known drink, so you will come across many calvados distilleries and cider farms nearby. The first one is just around the corner.

Travelling party: Seniors

Zeer goed op alle vlakken. Spijtig genoeg nu wel volledig gescheiden van het kasteel waarmee het niets meer te maken heeft. Opgelet: grotere combinaties/campers: geasfalteerde bosweg, soms erg smal indien tegenligger.
