Some may call the Limousine region the real France, as it has not been invaded by mass tourism yet. You can still find peace and quiet, yet there is enough to do. Camping Municipal de Montréal is located in this tranquil region, next to a swimming and fishing lake and only a stone's throw away from Nature Park Millevaches en Limousin. The attractive town of Limoges is half an hour's drive away.

Well maintained grounds
The campsite looks well maintained and is kept neat. The pitches are predominantly level, spacious and beautifully laid out and demarcated with straight hedges. Trees provide some shade. Most of the pitches overlook the lake and the surrounding hills. There are a few luxury rental chalets at an affordable price.
Watercycling, fishing and walking
Swimming enthusiasts have a choice: do you jump into the pool or will you swim a lap in the lake adjacent to the campsite? Close to the reception is the well maintained swimming pool with vegetation, loungers and sun umbrellas along one side of the pool. Just outside the entrance gate is the sandy beach with sunbathing lawn along the lake. There are two diving boards here. Also nice: rent a pedalo! Anglers are also welcome, disabled anglers can take a seat on the jetty. There is a playground for children with climbing equipment, a slide and a see-saw, as well as a sports field. There are many walking opportunities in the area. Bicycles can be hired at the campsite.
Tasty dishes
The campsite restaurant with terrace is open to the public during the summer months and offers simple, but tasty dishes. Take-away meals are also offered. A bread service is also available. There is no camping shop, but it is a short walk to the nearby St.-Germain-les-Belles.
