Camping La Gartempe is a campsite in Châteauponsac, Haute-Vienne, located a river/stream.This terraced camp site has which are marked out, pitches with shade, pitches without shade and pitches with some shade. It is possible to rent mobile homes, hikers' cabins and bungalows/chalets. The campsite has a playground.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - Our 3rd visit to Camping La Gartempe. Pretty site, well located for the A20 motorway, half an hour north of Limoges. Basic and fairly simple. Showers and toilets clean and work well. Not many pitches, some bigger than others. Lovely swimming pool down the bottom of a steep hill, on the banks of La Gartempe river. Bread and pastries available. Very reasonable cost.
