In the heart of the National Park de Cévennes, on the banks of the Tarn, lies the quiet campsite Le Pont du Tarn. The charming village of Florac lies within walking distance. The campsite is an idyllic site, ideal for nature lovers and outdoor sports enthusiasts. Families with children will also have a wonderful time here.

Wooded terrain

The level wooded grounds offer ample shade in the warm summer months. The fairly spacious pitches are laid out along the river and around a playing field. You can opt for a pitch in the sun or in the shade. Want to rent something? The rental accommodation units also look in tip-top order and have undergone major renovations in 2016 and 2017. You have a choice of mobile homes, lodge tents and bungalow tents.

Idyllic river

Swim enthusiasts and sun lovers can choose between the heated, attractive swimming pool and the idyllic river. The swimming pool has a beautiful design and is surrounded by decorative tiles, sun loungers, wicker sun umbrellas and greenery. There is a separate toddler pool with mushroom and a water playground. The river is suitable for swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. There are numerous natural beaches along the river.

Entertainment

Children can play to their heart's content on this campsite: there are several playgrounds with imaginative play equipment. In high season there is also an entertainment team to provide the children with an unforgettable summer. There is a jeu-de-boule pitch, table tennis table and a sports field.

Cosy terrace

The camping restaurant with bar offers basic, but tasty dishes and has a covered terrace. It is opened throughout the day. There is also a bread service. Within walking distance (near the traffic circle) you will find a large hyper-modern supermarket.

Liked - Location next to river
Disliked - Poor lighting at night. Understand need for low level lighting but it was a difficult trek to toilets and washing up area late at night.

Liked - We only stayed two nights on our way to the South of France. Was told the pitches we could choose from. The site was very quiet. Less than ten units on site. Would like to come back to this area again and explore more. Would stay at this site again.

Liked - Scenery, location, intermarche and florac within walking distance. Site is in a beautiful location especially when the sun rises over the hill.
Disliked - Untidy, lots of clothing left around, etc t shirt on basketball net for whole week, socks in play are, etc. could be collected up in a lost and found area then binned after a while.

I stayed here in June which was just after the lockdown due to the Covid19 pandemic.

It was therefore quiet however the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.

The location is lovely and a 15 minute walk into Florac itself. In the heart of the Cevinnes and just perfect to explore the gorges and more.

Toilet facilities were clean and care taken to ensure that there was no contamination with gel readily available to use.

Nice and quiet and I chose a pitch by the river. Lovely.

So good in fact that we are returning I\'m September.
