Katia and Bruno run the small-scale Camping Du Pont de Braye with attention for their customers and for nature. This eco campsite is situated on the Chapeauroux river, at the bottom of the mountainous landscape of Languedoc-Roussillion. You camp on spacious lawns between forests and mountains. You can also choose to stay in an ecolodge or a yurt, a traditional nomad tent.

idyllic spot
Hidden between forests and mountains, next to flowing water: Camping Du Pont de Braye is situated in an idyllic spot. The campsite is not particularly large, but because of its open character it still gives you a spacious feeling. On grass lawns there is room for about twenty-five touring pitches. In the middle of the elongated terrain there is a row of tall trees, which create shady spots. However, most of the touring pitches are sunny.
Special rental accommodations
Not only touring campers can visit the campsite. You can also stay there in one of the ten rental accommodations. The yurts are particularly special. These round tents were originally used by nomads in Central Asia. The yurts on the campsite are richly decorated, with beautiful paintings and a colourful interior.
Simple nature camping
‘Camping as camping is meant to be': a statement that does hold true for this campsite. No fuss, no luxury swimming paradise or disco; just camping in nature. The amenities on the campsite are quite basic. There is no supermarket, but you can get an ice cream or snack on the patio near the main building. All sanitary facilities, such as a toilet for the disabled and a baby room, are available though somewhat dated.
