Campsite Méditerranée Plage is located directly at the Mediterranean beach, a ten-minute bicycle ride from Portiragnes-Plage and 20 minutes from Vias-Plage. This is a large campsite with extensive entertainment and facilities and very suitable for families with children.

Warm welcome

Arriving at the reception you will straight away sense the professional approach of this top campsite, where everything is well organised. The proprietress is highly experienced and multilingual. The grounds are laid out in an uncluttered manner, the spacious pitches are clearly separate from the rental mobile homes. Pitches are demarcated, offer both sun and shade with large numbers of oleander shrubs. All pitches are within walking distance from both the swimming paradise and the beach, which is accessible via a wooden walkway over a low dune area. There are quite a few mobile homes available for rental on a separate area of the campsite.

Water fun and recreation

The campsite is located directly on the wide sandy beach. Close to the reception you will find the water park with slides, whitewater course, toddler pool and a sunbathing lawn with loungers. Camping Méditerranée Plage also offers a large number of other facilities such as a sports field, jeu de boule pitch and tennis. The entertainment team organises sports events for young and old and in the evenings there are performances, music, cabaret and shows put on by the entertainment team.

Grab a bite

At night you can enjoy dinner in the restaurant, which serves as a type of snack bar with basic dishes during the day. Take-away meals and pizzas are also available here. There are also two bars. The supermarket in the 'shopping street' has a selection of groceries with a separate section for vegetables, fruit and meat. Dayfresh mussels and oysters are available just outside the campsite.

Im Juni hatte ich das Vergnügen, einige Tage auf dem Campingplatz Méditerranée Plage zu verbringen, und ich bin rundum begeistert. Bereits bei der Ankunft wurde ich herzlich empfangen: Heike, eine freundliche Mitarbeiterin des Teams, fuhr mich mit dem Golfcaddy durch den Platz und zeigte mir verschiedene Stellplätze zur Auswahl. Dieser Service war äußerst hilfreich und erleichterte mir die Entscheidung, wo ich mein Wohnmobil hinstellen wollte.

Die sanitären Anlagen, insbesondere das Gebäude am Strandausgang, waren stets sauber und gepflegt, was meinen Aufenthalt sehr angenehm machte. Das untere Schwimmbecken war aufgrund von Wartungsarbeiten geschlossen, doch das tat der Freude am Pool keinen Abbruch. Es gab sogar Animationen im Poolbereich, was die entspannte Atmosphäre zusätzlich auflockerte.

Das Restaurant des Campingplatzes bietet eine große Fernsehwand, auf der wir abends Sportübertragungen ansehen konnten – ein Highlight für Sportbegeisterte. Darüber hinaus wurden verschiedene Themenabende organisiert, darunter Ratespiele und Karaoke. Auch wenn es sich um die Nebensaison handelte, war das Freizeitangebot abwechslungsreich und unterhaltsam.

Der kleine Supermarkt auf dem Gelände bietet alles, was man für den täglichen Bedarf braucht, und der Sandstrand direkt vor Ort ist einfach wunderschön. Die Möglichkeit, vom Campingplatz aus Radtouren entlang des Kanals nach Cap D'Agde zu unternehmen, war ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Zudem besuchte ich den Markt von Vias, der sich als äußerst charmant herausstellte.

Eigentlich wollte ich nur ein paar Tage bleiben, doch der Aufenthalt war so angenehm, dass ich mich entschloss, fast 9 Tage zu bleiben. Ich freue mich bereits auf meinen nächsten Besuch im September und kann Camping Méditerranée Plage jedem empfehlen, der eine entspannte Zeit am Mittelmeer verbringen möchte.

Travelling party: Seniors

Uns hat es diesmal nicht gefallen. Wir waren schon sehr oft auf dem Campingplatz. Das Wasser an den Hähnen auf dem Platz lief nur an einigen. Es war alles sehr versandet und ungepflegt. Die Bäume und Büsche waren vertrocknet und wir hatten den kleinsten Platz, den es gab.

Sehr schöner Campingplatz direkt am Meer. Es gibt einen Streichelzoo, ein Schwimmbad, einen Einkaufsshop, zwei Restaurants, einen Friseur und viel mehr. Ab Mittags Unterhaltung an der Bar. Immer wieder schön dort hin zu fahren. Egal ob für Groß oder Klein, man findet immer Anschluss und Beschäftigung.
