Nature plays a leading role in the French region of Hérault, north-west of the city of Béziers. Les Cerisiers du Jaur campsite, a green paradise in the Jaur valley, is situated in the heart of the Haut-Languedoc nature regional park. Dotted in the enchanting environment are a number of characteristic French villages to enhance a visit to this region. This diverse region of the Languedoc-Rousillon is also well suited to be explored by bicycle or on foot.

Spacious campsite

The camping pitches are distributed between the old and the new sections of the campsite. The majority is bordered by green hedges and equipped with electricity and water connections. Sufficient choice for a place in the shade. The old section of the campsite in particular is surrounded by trees, plants and shrubs. Rental accommodation is available in various types and sizes, from modern furnished mobile homes to wooden bungalows with partially covered verandas.

Swimming pool, river, lake or sea

For the swimming enthusiasts, Les Cerisiers du Jaur Campsite is definitely the place to be. On the campsite but also beyond, campers have a choice of various waters. In the centre of the camping grounds is a playful swimming pool, which can be accessed via a wide flight of stairs. Infants and toddlers have their own dedicated section of the pool. The river with private beach is also popular with the guests. The area at the dam is an ideal playground for children. Beyond the campsite are two beautiful lakes: Lake Vesoles and Lake la Raviège. Furthermore, the coast is some 50 km away near Béziers.

Liked - Mooi gelegen
Disliked - Er miste wat ons betreft gezelligheid op de camping. Dit had o.a. te maken met achterstallig onderhoud aan faciliteiten als pingpong tafel, jeu de boules banen, voetbalveld en volleybalveld en is echt geen 4 sterren waardig. Het rookbeleid werd niet uitgevoerd door het personeel roken (bij het stokbrood) in de bar en bij de huuraccommodaties tijdens het schoonmaken.

Liked - The site is teally nicely laid out with different options. Wonderful swimming pool area and beautiful down by the river. Activities good fun. Staff helpful and accomodating. Food good.
Would maybe be nice for a bouncy castle or childrens games area but this is not majorly important

Liked - Really enjoyed staying here and finding out about the general area…
Disliked - The snack bar was confusing so didn’t use it.. the pool closed at 7 even though hot+++, the one way system made no sense with most roads having no entrance signs… shame about the building site as well.. maybe do the building work out of season.
