Camping Les Sablons is located on the beach of the Mediterranean and by a lagoon near the town of Portiragnes-Plage (Languedoc-Roussillon). It is a very luxury campsite with an extensive water park and a separate balneo swimming pool with spa, many facilities for sports and games and a wide-ranging entertainment programme for young and old.

Luxury galore

As soon as you check in, you will notice the atmosphere and service of this well-equipped campsite. The campsite is subdivided in 'quarters'. For instance, some of the chalets are located by the lagoon with a view of the water. Another section houses the most luxurious rental accommodation. The cottages have a decked terrace or private garden with wooden garden furniture. The camping pitches are spacious, beautifully laid out and partially demarcated.

Sandy beach

A large advantage of Les Sablons is its location next to the wide sandy beach of Portiragnes-Plage. The beach can be reached directly from the campsite via a guarded access gate. You can hire pedalos for optimal enjoyment. You can also go on an exciting trip on a banana boat, go sailing or play a game of beach volleyball.

Sports, games and showtime

The varied entertainment programme is a top attraction of this campsite. There is a mini club for the little ones, where they can do crafts, water games, build sand castles and dance. Great fun for older children is 'Club Ado', where they organise all kinds of activities for two different age groups. Some of these activities: soccer games, water slide tournaments, beach games and tree climbing routes.

There is also no need to get bored in the evenings. Enjoy the camping show, the foam party, evening swims, live music or a cabaret show.

Travelling party: Couple

Very comfortable campsite close to lovely long beach. Also close to the town of Portiragnes Plage with its regular market just outside the campsite gate! Restaurants and shops on site and in the town. Easy to cycle along the Canal du Midi and along the coast. Good size motorhome pitch with private shower and toilet facilities. We didn't have our dog with us this visit but could see that the facilities were good for the other people's dogs there. It's an excellent campsite and we had a lovely relaxing two-week holiday there.
