Camping Le Galet is located in the charming centre of the authentic fishing village of Marseillan-Plage only 200 metres from the beach. The Étang de Thau inland lake and the famous Canal du Midi are nearby, as is the marina, which is popular with fishermen and water sports enthusiasts. There are numerous lovely cycling paths in the surrounding area.

Palm trees

On the extensive, green property, the pitches are located along a lovely main road with palms and bushes with a few side streets. You can choose a spot in the sun or in (partial) shade. The size of the tree-lined sites varies from 50-80 m2. If you want to rent something, there are mobile homes for rent.

Lovely swimming pool

The heated swimming pool is luxuriously designed in playful shapes. You'll have more fun in the water in the jacuzzi and on the three slides. The little campers can have fun in a kiddie pool with water mushroom and slide. The slowly sloping bottom is great for the disabled.

Around the pools you'll find colourful (lounge) chairs, thatched parasols and palm trees. There is an adjoining bar with covered terrace. Here you can enjoy the shade and a tasty drink. The sandy beach is within walking distance and can be reached via a small side road.

New multi-sports field

There is a lovely new multi-sports pitch on Camping Le Galet. In addition, young people can enjoy themselves in the playground, playing table tennis and on the bouncy castle.

Tapas restaurant

The camping restaurant is quite busy. Opposite the exit to the campsite there is a charming and very popular tapas restaurant. Just outside of the campsite there are a few shops, such as a bakery, a vegetable shop and a well-stocked supermarket.

Travelling party: Couple

Site in town, a couple of minutes stroll from lovely sandy beach, shops/bars/restaurants all within a few minutes\' walk. Pitches can be quite tight, it was busy when we arrived, we only had the choice of 3 pitches and 1 of them was already occupied. 3 sanitary blocks, the centre one is smaller, but clean and functional. Nice pool area with slides, snack bar/bar closed due to end of season when we were there. Motorhome service area.
