Camping Bon Port is situated in the Petite Camargue, slightly more than 2 km from the small town of Lunel. This is the Herault tourist region, which extends between the mountains and the sea. In the direct vicinity you will find the beautiful coast of the Camargue with its glorious beaches, for instance La Grande Motte, some 10 km away. However, the hinterland also offers various options for nice outings.

Flowers, flowers, flowers

On your way to the campsite you will notice that the campsite makes a well maintained impression. You will also see a remarkable amount of flowers everywhere. Judging by the hustle and bustle there is a lot to do here. The camping pitches vary in size. They have a surface of grass and are laid out under pine trees.

Rental accommodation and sanitary facilities

There are quite a few permanent tents on the campsite. Just like the rental accommodation they are quite close to each other. The camping pitches are largely located on own camping fields. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean.

Swimming paradise and large playground

The focus of the campsite is especially on children. In the high season you will, therefore, find many families with children here. Especially the swimming paradise to the right of the reception and the large playground with numerous climbing options are popular. There are several swimming pools and beautiful water slides.

Supermarket, bar, restaurant with terrace

You can do your grocery shopping in a small supermarket on the campsite. Enough choice to tickle the palate: there is a restaurant with terrace and bar.

Liked - Mooie nette camping met een heel leuk zwembad met goede controle van de badmeesters.
Stacaravan was netjes beetje gedateerd en het terras was niet al te stevig meer.
Mooie omgeving, je zat zo op de grote wegen om uitstappen te kunnen maken.
Disliked - De sta caravan stond echt naast het zwembad, van 10, tot 20 veel geschreeuw vanuit het zwembad je kon elkaar soms niet eens verstaan.
En dan van 21 tot 23.30u muziek waardoor de kinderen niet konden slapen.
Het was echt teveel van het goede.
Animatie elke week hetzelfde, en in het Frans. Engels spreken ze niet echt.
Receptie was zeer netjes en je kan er goed terecht voor tips voor de omgeving.

Liked - Very nice accomodation: the cottage was clean, very modern and useful.
Nice pool, fine kids activities, top location
Disliked - The lunch menu at the restaurant could have more variety: only kids menu, paninis and burgers were available

The female boss at the reception wasn’t always as polite as could be: most of the time when we greeted her she didn’t answer. The other ladies at the reception were always very polite !

Liked - De sta caravans waren schoon, plaatsen veelal schaduwrijk. Was ook wel nodig want het was behoorlijk warm. Vriendelijk personeel, klein maar leuk zwembad met goed oplettende badmeesters. Handdoekje leggen is hier niet toegestaan, zo fijn

Liked - Enorm naar ons zin gehad! Het is een fijne overzichtelijke camping waar je de kids met een gerust hart naar het speelveld kan laten gaan. Er zijn mooie stranden (petit travers, grande travers, grande motte) en stadjes in de buurt (Names, aigues mortes,...)
Disliked - Het zwembad is heel mooi maar wel druk. Ik denk dat ze in de afgelopen jaren wat uit hun jasje zijn gegroeid. De animatie in de avond was top (wel pas laat rond half 10) maar we misten het dagelijkse 17.00 dansen en af en toe een knutsel activiteit die ook toegankelijk is voor Nederlandse kids. Er was nu niemand van de animatie die Nederlands sprak of goed Engels.

Disliked - Petit bémols que les shorts de bain ne soit pas autorisés du coup mon mari n'a pas été dans la piscine car les slips de bain il ne met pas.
Je pense qu'autorisé les shorts de bain serait un plus.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - The entertainment was outstanding! Something on everyday for both children and adults. My oldest 12 loved the football tournaments, water polo and my daughter 9 liked to dance in the pool and the water slide races also. The pool area is fantastic, again something for everyone and even some warm pools. Exercise classes were really good and woke you up in the mornings. The guy in charge of the entertainment does an outstanding job. Accommodation was comfortable and gave everything you needed.
Disliked - The dust around the caravan, maybe some gravel or grass can be laid. The caravans need to be full cleaned, even in places you can not see! Bbqs, you should have these for people to rent, this would be the extra bonus to make the stay just perfect!
