The Languedoc-Roussillon is one of the largest wine areas in France. The area, stretching from the shores of the Rhône to the Spanish border, enjoys a dry climate and plenty of sun. Ideal for creating lovely wines and for holidaymakers who love the sun. On Camping Municipal Loupian, you're extremely well-placed for enjoying the sun, the wine, and the beautiful region. For example, you could head to the Gallo-Roman Museum in Loupian, where in addition to a villa, a whole range of archaeological finds can be viewed.

Spacious campsite
The terrain of the municipal campsite looks good and is well-organised. You drive to your pitch on semi-paved paths. The camping pitches are spacious, and tidily demarcated by trees. This means that they still offer plenty of privacy.
The facilities here are fairly standard. This means that there is no swimming pool. As a result the site is very quiet, and ideal for seekers of peace.
Time for a snack
Take-away meals can be obtained from the snack bar, and a few simple menus are on offer. You can also dine on the terrace. The service is friendly. Camping Municipal Loupian does not feature any shops. Head to Mèze, two and a half kilometres further on, for a supermarket.
The Thau Lake and charming coastal villages
Not far from the campsite you can find the Thau Lake, a vast lagoon connected with the Mediterranean Sea. Oysters and shellfish are cultivated in the inland lake. Coastal villages such as Mèze, Bouzigues, Balaruc-les-Bains, Sète and Marseillan can be found around the lake. Here you can stroll along the waterfront, taste the local atmosphere and enjoy the beautiful views.
