Camping Les Avignon is less than five kilometres from the French city Avignon, just on the other side of the Rhône river. This campsite is located across from an old fort and a monastery, nestled among green rolling hills. Camping Les Avignon is an ideal campsite for campsite visitors who love the combination of the countryside and the charm of a city.

Green campsite with lots of shade

The campsite is on the outskirts of the large city of Avignon and yet it is an oasis of peace and quiet. The grounds are green with hedges and large trees that provide welcome shade. You camp on grass and all of the pitches are around 100 m2. You can choose from a pitch with or without electricity. Renting a mobile home is also an option, suitable for four to six people. Fresh rolls can be picked up daily from the reception, where local wines, snacks and ice cream are also available. If it rains, just go to the covered recreational area where there is a television. There is also a corner with books that can be borrowed or where you can have a pleasant conversation with other campsite visitors.

Swimming in the municipal swimming pool

The campsite itself has no swimming pool, but the municipal swimming pool (indoor and outdoor) is right next to the campsite. Campsite guests may swim here for free in the summer months. Not in the mood to cook? Enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at the campsite restaurant. Have a seat on the terrace or take the food to your own pitch.

Exceptional value site for ACSI price. Close to a small village with plenty of eateries and a small groceries store. Good sized pitches (we’re in a 7.5mtr Motorhome). Everything works well
