The amicable, small-scale and neatly laid out campsite is a Valhalla for children. In high season mainly (Dutch) families visit this campsite. In low season senior citizens are frequent visitors.

Wooded landscape

The terrain is spaciously laid out with a diverse range of standard and comfort pitches in rows along pathways. Trees offer lots or a bit of shade. From your pitch the view is picturesque: the beautiful river with the sunbathing lawn and the pebble beach are surrounded by a gently sloping wooded landscape. Rental apartments.

Water playground

The luxury swimming pool complex of 500m2 consists of two outdoor swimming pools with rock formations, a waterfall and large water playground. One of the two swimming pools is heated. The pool is surrounded by loungers and a few palm trees. The Gardon river flows alongside the campsite. The water is not too deep (knee deep on one side) and makes for a great deal of water fun.

Large play area

Children can enjoy themselves on a large play area with play equipment and you will also find a multi sports field, tennis court and table tennis tables. There is also an comprehensive entertainment programme for young and old, from water aerobics to disco. Around the campsite are (tough) cycle trails and the camping offers an excursion programme.

Tasty dishes

You do not have to leave the grounds for fresh croissants in the morning: there is a bread service. There is also a small shop with limited assortment. You will find a large supermarket some 3.5 km away in St Jean du Gard. The camping restaurant with small menu offers basic, tasteful dishes and has a nice terrace. Take-away meals are also available.

Travelling party: Couple

Een prachtige camping, zeer goed onderhouden met ruime plaatsen voor caravan en camping. Nederlands sprekende (mede) eigenaar. Speciaal in het voorseizoen tegen acsi tarief een aanrader. Veel Nederlanders die hier in alle rust komen genieten van de mooie omgeving. Uitstapje met de stoomtreinje naar de verschillende dorpen, Anduze, St Jean du Gard of wat verder de stad Arlez. Of bezoeken van weingaarden in de omgevingeving. Fietsen (wel electrisch) naar en over de prachtige cols van "De Cevenne. Op de camping veel sporten, zoals tennis ,zwemmen, Jeude Boulle, vollybal maar ook bridgen ( in het voorseizoen) . Prachtige zonneweide aan de rivier. Verder kun je uitstapjes maken naar weinplantage's in de buurt of een groot Baboebos en natuurlijk de beroemde Point du Gard. Hoewel er ook facilteiten zijn voor kinderen komt deze doelgroep wat minder aan hun trekken. Maar deze camping is beslist een aanrader.

Travelling party: Seniors

Zijn 24 nachten op deze camping geweest. Een super camping met alleen maar kampeerplekken, geen huisjes of stacaravans. Warm ontvangst en zeer gastvrije beheerders. Lekker restaurant waar je goed kunt eten. Ondanks het mindere weer voor deze tijd van het jaar, is het een aanrader. Een heerlijk zwembad en vooral veel rust. in de omgeving is veel te zien en je kunt er geweldig wandelen. Wij gaan zeker terug. Hier kun je kamperen zoals naar onze mening kamperen moet, bravo.

Wij waren hier in juni ‘22
Overdag jeu de boulen en ‘s avonds bridgen! Zo kwamen wij onze tijd wel door! Heerlijk genoten van het mooie weer en de prachtige omgeving.

Omdat op deze camping heel veel faciliteiten bij elkaar komen, zwembad en rivier, ruime plaatsen en grote ligweide, bar en restaurant, sport en spel, schoon sanitair, vriendelijk personeel, diverse talen waaronder Nederlands en tot slot de prachtige omgeving en de diverse mooie dorpjes en steden in de regio.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Mooie camping maar helaas geen enkel toezicht, niet op de camping , zwembad of speelplaats/voetbal/pumping baan. ook veel lawaai makende kinderen(pubers), die de hele dag tot soms 4uur snachts op hun mobiel bij het toilet gebouw rondhangen, want daar heb je de beste Wifi. Auto’s rijden van 7 tot 23uur op de camping dus voor rust is dit geen aanrader. Overigens waren er totaal geen Corona maatregelen genomen.
