A lovely family campsite in a unique location in a rugged nature reserve. Camping La Corconne is north of the French city of Montpellier in the department of Gard. Camping beside the beautiful River Hérault and amid the trees is a wonderful experience for people seeking peace and nature lovers. A friendly, non-nonsense atmosphere dominates the campsite with neat facilities, such as a lovely restaurant with its own pizza oven. Children can play and swim in the river's clean water that can be reached directly from the campsite. There are stunning walking and cycling routes in the immediate vicinity.

Camping in the Southern French countryside

The nature-rich campsite is quite remote and surrounded by unspoilt nature. The small bridge measuring 2.5 metres wide and the steep incline to get to the campsite make it extremely difficult with motorhomes and caravans longer than 6.5 metres.

Once you arrive at the campsite, you will see a lovely restaurant with covered patio by reception. The owners hold nature close to their hearts and have set up the campsite with that in mind. Everything has been constructed with respect for the surroundings.

Relax amid the natural greenery

This terraced campsite has 33 camping pitches with natural demarcation and mainly in the shade. Campers are spread out in the forest and by the river with the sound of the babbling water in the background. There is more than enough space and privacy. There is also a tent field if you are camping with a tent or coming with a small group.
