If you would like to enjoy a holiday in a natural setting, far away from the daily hustle and bustle, Camping Les Gorges de l'Hérault is highly recommended. This campsite is right by River Hérault, close to the commune of Sumène in the Cévennes (southern France). You can do mountain sports in this forested mountain area. During walking, cycling and climbing trips, you will pass the most beautiful spots with impressive viewpoints. You can also easily enjoy yourself at this small-scale campsite. Go for a swim in the swimming pool or in the river and many fun activities are organised in the high season.

Choose a lovely spot with river views

This campsite has an elongated site along River Hérault. This means many of the touring pitches are right on the river banks. Generally, the pitches at this neatly landscaped campsite have quite a lot of shade. There are also 22 accommodation for hire. These are mobile homes and comfortable canvas tents.

Go for a refreshing swim

In summer, temperatures can get quite high in the Southern French hinterland. The setting by the river is therefore really nice. Furthermore, the campsite has a private swimming pool with paddling pool. The outdoor swimming pools are next to reception and are open in the high season.

Entertainment in the high season

There is plenty of entertainment in the summer holiday. For example, there are special themed evenings with fun shows, performances, bingos and karaoke. During the day, there are sporting activities and tournaments. Creative workshops and surprising treasure hunts are organised specially for children.

Travelling party: Couple

Super leuke camping! Prachtig gelegen aan de Herault. Diep genoeg om te zwemmen en van rotsen te springen. Fijn zwembad en best diep voorzien van ligbedden en stoelen.
Super aardige eigenaars. Goed sanitair met lekkere douches. Helaas afwaswater lauw.
Tip voor camping: echt heet afwaswater!! En wat waterpalen tussen de plaatsen.
Waren er in juni was erg rustig. Grote wasmachine. M
