Camping Beau Rivage is a charming family campground with many activities for children. The campground is located in the midst of mountainous southern France in the French department of Gard, that borders the Ardèche.

Provençal atmosphere

The camping has a convivial, Provençal atmosphere. The fact that the campground owners speak Dutch makes communication that much easier. The campground is playfully designed with spacious pitches. Each site is a little bit different than the others. Many pitches have a view of the river Le Gardon. There are mobile homes for rent for extra comfort.

Playful fields

The varied fields are occupied by families in the summer. There are many sport and play activities organised for children, such as looking for gold and fishing in Le Gardon. In the low season, the focus is on the older generation. They can enjoy music and jeu-de-boules. The campground has its own swimming pool, central between the reception and the large covered terrace. The swimming pool can be seen from everywhere, and parents can easily keep an eye on their playing children. If you want to get out, you can walk and cycle in the natural surroundings of the campground.

Fantastic pizzas

At the reception, there is a small shop where you can get the necessities. In Lezan, 3 km further you can do the rest of your shopping. The restaurant is known for its fantastic pizzas. On the charming terrace, you have a view of the swimming pool and part of the campground. The sanitation facility is beautiful and clean. Music provides a lovely atmosphere.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Een zeer leuke kleine camping met ongeveer 160 plaatsen. De camping plaatsen zijn ruim met veel schaduw. De camping ligt langs de rivier de gardon waar je in kan zwemmen, vissen en goud kan zoeken. Het restaurant op de camping is gevarieerd van eigen gemaakte pizza’s in de steenoven tot heerlijke salades en burgers. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zeer kindvriendelijk met leuke animaties team voor de kids. Zeker een aanrader.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Twee weken gestaan in het hoofdseizoen.
Zwembadregels doen er blijkbaar niet toe, het water was tijdens een drukke week ook troebel en warm.
Restaurant is oké, een aantal keren heerlijk gegeerd maar ook een keer een aangebrande pizza gehad en vervolgens werd er niks mee gedaan.
Ligging is top, mooi gebied en fiets en wandelroutes.
Voor mensen met honden ook leuk, al loopt de hond van de eigenaar wel los.

Travelling party: Seniors

Een camping met Nederlandse eigenaren en voornamelijk Nederlands publiek. Voorzieningen zijn prima. Rivier is een plus maar het zwembad volgens mijn mening in het hoogseizoen , te klein. Wel worden er voor kinderen activiteiten georganiseerd en ook voor volwassenen zijn er activiteiten. Dit jaar 4 weken in het hoogseizoen daar gestaan.

de camping is mooi aangelegd.
We hadden een plek met een boom midden op het veld. Het enige voordeel daar aan was dat het zonnedoek daar aan vast gemaakt kon worden.
Er wordt vooraf gevraagd of je wil betalen om je auto op je plek te hebben, daar was niet echt ruimte voor, gelukkig hadden we niet gekozen voor deze optie.

we hebben 1 keer pizza gehaald. deze waren pik en pik zwart dus de helft konden we niet eten. friet en snacks was prima.

als je van heel veel herrie een rumoer houdt is dit de camping voor jou. 2 weken met oordoppen in moeten slapen, vanwege alle herrie en onrust in de avonden en nachten.
veel ons kent ons op de camping, en grote groepen die er al jaren komen. Daar moet je van houden.
veel animatie tot zelfs in de nacht met de bijbehorende dames die door de microfoons praten op standje festival. Dus de camping voedt de herrie zelf ook, en houdt hierbij geen
rekening met zijn gasten.

rivier en zwembad prima voor de kids om zich in te vermaken.

al met al een camping waar je vooral niet voor je rust heen moet…
ieder zijn ding zullen we maar zeggen.

Super verblijf , heel leuke familie camping met mooie plaatsen ,heel leuke wandelingen vanaf de camping en uiteraard lekkere pizza's en andere gerechten in het restaurant . En de rivier , zalig voor mens en hond om in te vertoeven .
