'We offer you the family holiday you always dreamed of as a kid.' That is the mission of the Capfun camping chain. This mission is clearly evident at Capfun's La Grande Cosse Campsite in the southern French department of Aude. There is plenty to do for the whole family. Go whooshing down the slides in the water park, challenge your friends on the obstacle course, enjoy a performance at the evening show, or just do it all. And a major plus: the beach is within walking distance of the campsite.

Camping holiday in France

Capfun's La Grande Cosse Campsite primarily offers luxury mobile homes for guests to rent. But there are also a number of touring pitches for campers who prefer to holiday using their own camping equipment. Are you bringing your pet along on holiday? They are also welcome at the campsite for an additional surcharge. First- and second-category dogs such as pit bulls and mastiffs are not allowed.

Water fun in the water park

The campsite has not one, but four different swimming pools. There is a special paddling pool for small children. And there are three somewhat deeper pools. What makes the water park really unique are the three water slides that you can whiz down. The Crazy Cone slide offers an especially fun adventure for older children. Do you prefer to swim in the sea? That is also an option! The Grande Cosse beach is about 500 metres from the campsite. You walk to the sandy beach on the Mediterranean Sea via a path through the nature reserve.

"This campsite is located between Béziers and the Pyrenees in a large, protected nature reserve by the sea, within walking distance of the beach. A four-star campsite with a pleasant, friendly atmosphere. Very well maintained toilet blocks, well spread over this large, very well maintained site. Nice heated swimming pool with large water slide next to it."
