On the shores of Leucate Lake, in the French department of Aude, lies the Camping Le Fun campsite. You will have a great time here, especially on the water. During your camping holiday, you can surf and use your SUP (stand-up paddleboard), sunbathe and swim. The latter can be done in the pool, but also in the Mediterranean Sea. From Le Fun campsite, the sea is only a fifteen-minute drive away. At the campsite itself, you will find mostly peace and quiet.

Camping under the olive trees

A paved road leads to the campsite's large pitches. You can choose one yourself. Select a nice pitch in the sun or in the shade. Ancient olive trees provide shady spots and demarcation. A delightful camping experience!

Endless fun for surfers and SUP'ers

Sports enthusiasts in particular will have an incredible time at Camping Fun. Leucate Lake is the place to be for surfers and SUP'ers. The strong coastal wind makes it extra fun for real water sports enthusiasts. This allows kite surfers to jump to impressive heights. Looking for calmer waters? Then dive into the campsite pool. This large pool is an amazing place for hours of swimming fun.

Eating mussels and more

The small bar with a small menu at the campsite may be enough to satisfy all your needs. But there are plenty of larger restaurants in the area to enjoy throughout your holiday. Especially at Port Leucate. This is where you'll find the best spots for mussels, the speciality of the region. But Perpignan or Narbonne are also great places to eat out. Why not combine your meal with a day trip to these beautiful historic cities?

Liked - The environment is beautiful to explore by bike, hiking or just by driving around. The possibility to windsurf on the lake next to the camping is so nice. The "mussels evenings" are valuable to make new contacts and discuss in a lovely setting the things happened that day/week.
Disliked - At the end of the season the swimming pool is not heated anymore. So if you want to swim in sunny days, you need to overcome the cold water.
