Camping les Brugues is in the centre of the countryside of southern France. The small-scale campsite is on a farm close to Fanjeaux, Aude, and has been managed by three generations of the same sheep-breeding family. They love showing you what the rural life is like, giving guided tours and hosting tastings for local delicacies. The campsite itself is characterised by tranquillity, nature and a friendly atmosphere. Wander about the surrounding area or explore medieval castles, villages and cities in the vicinity.

Spacious shaded pitches
The cosy campsite only has 25 pitches, 20 of which are equipped with power. The pitches are all at least 200 m2, giving you plenty of space for your tent, caravan or motorhome. Add to this the open view and the mature trees all around and you will immediately see that it is good to be here. It gets really dark in the evening in and around the campsite, allowing you to enjoy the clear starry sky. The toilet and washing facilities are well-maintained, and there is a communal area with picnic tables and a playground for the children.
Staying overnight on the farm
Next to the campsite is a lake, which is a good place to fish or to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, swimming is not permitted. The remainder of the landscape consists of rolling hills and sheep-filled fields. The campsite owners are proud of their farm. They can tell you all about their sheep, the milk that is used to make Roquefort cheese and other local delicacies. In addition to the sheep, there are also chickens, rabbits and pigs at the farm. Great for young and old!
