This well-organised campsite is located not far from the village of Ounans. Here you'll camp at the foot of the Jura mountain range with the Loue river flowing past the campsite. The area is hilly and has many rivers, lakes and streams. La Plage Blanche is a true campsite for lovers of space and nature.

Lovely location on the Loue

The leafy campsite is located right on the north bank of the Loue. This river offers the option to bathe, swim and canoe/kayak. You can hire equipment from Val'Nature - Sports Loisirs Jura, located at the entrance to the campsite.

The pitches are spacious and have sufficient privacy. The loveliest pitches are right on the river. The rental accommodation consists of mobile homes and luxury tents on decks. Not far from the entrance is the swimming pool, complete with sunbathing lawn and parasols.

All kinds of activities

There is a playground for the kids on the campsite, a jeu-de-boules pitch and a few volleyball courts. For children from five to twelve years there is an entertainment team in high season for activities outdoors, such as archery and pony rides. On Wednesday evenings there are magic shows and concerts you can attend.

Pizzas, grilled dishes and salads

The cafeteria of Huttopia La Plage Blanche serves simple meals, such as pizzas, grilled dishes and salads. Of course, you can also come here for an ice cream or a drink to enjoy on the lovely terrace on the river. The shop offers only the basics, such as fresh bread. In Ounans there are more shops and in Dole a few large supermarkets.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Heel leuke camping, zowel met als zonder kinderen. De voorzieningen zijn wat kleinschalig, maar prima als je niet van een massale camping houdt. Restaurant heeft lekkere pizza's. Het riviertje is geweldig. Dole en Arbois zijn de moeite waard, de natuur is schitterend.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Het is een camping met alle mogelijkheden. Mooi zwembad. Kraakheldere rivier, staanplaatsen naast de rivier, zon, (half)schaduw. Echter, het is ook een camping die vooral gekozen wordt door grote gezinnen met kinderen -6jaar. Er is in een naburig huisje of tent wel altijd een kindje aan het huilen, schreeuwen of jengelen. Wij verkiezen andere geluiden uit de natuur. Wij hadden speciaal een ingerichte tent met badkamer achteraan in de camping gekozen. Ver van alles. Helaas staan daar de tenten erg kort op elkaar en heb je geen of weinig privacy. Vooraan in de camping zijn er ruimere staanplaatsen. Achteraan de camping veel krapper. Wij vonden het personeel niet aardig. Wij hebben tot 3 keer toe gevraagd in de receptie of we ergens anders konden staan. Ze gingen het steeds bespreken. Niets meer van gehoord. Na 3 keer hebben we het opgegeven. In de buurt ook weinig te beleven.
Dit één van onze minst leuke vakanties geweest.
