If you prefer spending your holidays in the unspoiled countryside, far away from urban bustle and motorways, then Domaine d'Haulmé is highly recommended. This campsite is in a secluded spot in the French Ardennes, right by the River Semois. Here, you camp in a hilly, forested area. The campsite has a restaurant, a small shop, an outdoor swimming pool and clean toilet and washing facilities.

Hire a tiny house or camp right by the Semois

You can camp anywhere on the forested site. The pitches, just like the campsite itself, are nicely integrated into the countryside. There are about 30 pitches on the banks of the Semois.

Besides the tourist pitches, various types of accommodation are available. At Domaine d’Haulmé, you can hire a mobile home, but also special accommodation such a tiny house, a vintage caravan and a large dome tent.

Go for a refreshing swim in the campsite's swimming pool

On summer days, you can jump into the wonderful water of the heated swimming pool that adorns Domaine d’Haulmé. The swimming pool is in the sun. That means you can relax nicely on the loungers that are on the decking around the swimming pool. Furthermore, you can go paddling in the water of the Semois on the outskirts of the campsite.

Ideal starting point for varied forest walks

Domaine d’Haulmé is in the heart of the French Ardennes. This campsite is surrounded by a hilly landscape with vast forested areas. You can take lovely walks straight from the campsite. As well as easy and hard walking trails, this region is excellent for mountain biking, climbing and canoeing.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Wat een ongelofelijke asociale camping. Tot in de vroege uurtjes harde bonkende muziek.
Zoek je een rustige camping ga dan zeker niet voor deze camping. Alles word door de eigenaar getolereerd of hij is in geen velde of wegen te bekennen. Veels te grote groepen. Grote groep blaffende jankende honden.

Geweldige, stoere camping! Niet voor watjes.
Voor het ouderwetse camperen in de natuur een heel fijne plek in mooie omgeving.
Het sanitair is verouderd maar wordt goed schoon gehouden door personeel, dit in tegenstelling tot sommige gasten... douches zijn warm (soms heet).
De Bel Tente en t Tiny house zijn fris en gezellig ingericht, echt een aanrader. De vintage caravan nogal muffig (ook de geur is vintage). Het terein megagroot met voldoende ruimte om een bijzonder plekje te kiezen. Wij waren er met een familie van 9 personen, inclusief oma van 84 en hebben ons er goed geamuseert ondanks het slechte weer. Graag komen we nog een keertje terug. we verheugen ons dan op spelen in t water, lange fietstochten en wat meer luieren in de hangmat. Groetjes Nicole

Travelling party: Seniors

10 daags verblijf met caravan, nog nooit zo\'n beschimmelde douches gezien als op deze camping, douchekoppen ook slecht. Op een watertappunt naast ons zat niet eens een kraan, het water spoot er horizontaal uit. Camping komt verwaarloosd over. Omgeving was prachtig.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Hele mooie ruime plekken in een prachtig gebied. Vanaf de camping kan een kanotocht geboekt worden. Er zijn plekken langs de rivier waar je prachtig staat. Deze plekken zijn (nog) zonder elektra. In de rivier was een beverburcht waar elke avond de bevers zich lieten zien. Ook vele ijsvogels. De camping is nog in aanbouw. Het sanitair is oud, maar doet het prima en is keurig schoon. Wel zelf wc rol meenemen. Het zwembadje is goed, maar wel klein. Bij de camping is een restaurantje. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk.

Usually I keep the gems to myself, but this campsite deserves a positive review. Nice place if you like camping in the great outdoors, a bit primitive, off grit.

The young campsite managers are well on their way to turning it into an eco campsite. This piece can be further perfected, but something is already tangible. Bravo!
Lots of space, silence, lots of nature, where you can enjoy cycling and walking. The emois is an attraction in itself.
I look forward to a reunion.
