The campsite shop offers the essential groceries, as well as fresh bread on weekdays. Here, you will come across mostly Dutch and French fishing enthusiasts, hikers and cyclists.
Green cycling route
The campsite is often used by cyclists who follow the car-free cycling route along the Meuse from Givet, which is located along the Belgian border, to Charleville-Mézières. The 80 km-long green 'Voie Verte' cycling route is almost entirely flat. Horseback riders and skaters often use this route as well. The campsite is situated approximately halfway along the route. A set of train tracks runs parallel to the route, so you can catch the train back at one of the stations.
You can also follow the marked hiking trails leading from the campsite, which are also suitable for novice hikers. The campsite also features a table tennis table, a sports field and a boules court.
Climbing and jumping
On the other side of the Meuse is a starting point for paragliding, which gives you a fine view of paragliders launching from the mountain and landing near the campsite.
Camping Bellevue is located in a beautiful landscape with plenty of slate rock, and there are various old slate quarries. In TerrAltitude park, you will find climbing routes, climbing towers which are five or eight metres high, and paintball facilities.
