Do you prefer to spend your holiday in natural surroundings, far from the hustle and bustle of the city? Then definitely consider a stay at this quiet campsite in the Loiret, just south of Paris. Here you'll be camping on the edge of the vast forest area of La Forêt d'Orléans. You can go on wonderful hiking and cycling trips in this unspoilt environment. In addition, Seasonova l'Étang des Bois Campsite is located right next to a sandy beach on a beautiful recreational lake. This campsite has undergone extensive renovations since being taken over by the Seasonova chain in 2022.

Wooded grounds with large touring pitches

If you love the real camping life, then this is the campsite for you. After all, tourist camping pitches are clearly in the majority here. The spacious pitches are separated from each other by neatly maintained hedges. There is abundant shade thanks to the wooded location. There are also a number of accommodations for rent at this campsite, such as lodge tents and mobile homes.

Enjoy the beach life

You'll be camping right on the Étang des Bois recreational lake. The lake's large sandy beach is right next to the camping area. In July and August, you can even swim here under professional supervision. The lake is also a great place for fishing, windsurfing and canoeing.

Good food at the campsite restaurant

Right next to the lake is a cosy restaurant with a modest but tasty selection. You can go there for waffles, fries, snacks, ice cream and refreshing drinks. There's also a small shop on the campsite where you can get fresh bread every day.

Liked - Lovely site. We visited in June 24 and returned in sept. It’s so peaceful and relaxing great place to go off grid for a while. Would definitely recommend.

Liked - I liked the spacious pitches and quiet at night. The location near the étang was also nice
Disliked - Better lighting in the sanitary building would be nice. Especially during the day it was too dark

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Great camping, lovely and small. Facilities are good and clean, including a nice strong, hot shower. We had a safari tent right by the lake and our 3 year old daughter absolutely loved it! Beach is really nice and attached to the camping, so easily accessible. They do pastries in the morning you can pre order or there is a big supermarket 5min drive. Nice beds too. Would highly recommend, especially with small children.

Liked - Nice lake, camsite could be nice when maintained properly
Disliked - Camping is not maintained very well, pitches are ok but a lot of weeds around them Just one wash/ toiletbuilding there was just one shower for ladies and shower was extremely hot, no place to put your dry clothes or toiletbag. Toilets were reasonably ok, but to little available ( you don't use 2 toilets in 1 cubicle!!)
