Camping Les Bois du Bardelet lies in a charming landscape, a few km from the town of Poilly-lez-Gien. In this tranquil area between lakes and forests you can enjoy a family holiday amidst nature. With the lakes surrounding you, ideal for fishing or canoeing, the campsite offers you the comfort of a five-star campsite. Enjoy an excellent restaurant, a shop, an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor water playground. This will ensure that even the tiny tots have plenty of water fun throughout the season!

Comfortable rental accommodation

The campsite pitches are generous in size. In addition to the usual mobile homes on the campsite grounds and the chalets near a recreation pond, at Camping Les Bois du Bardelet you can also rent one of the attractive gîtes by the fishing pond. These will accommodate four to six persons and are equipped with all amenities.

Recreational pond, sandy beach and swimming pool

In addition to the fishing pond, there is also a recreational pond on the campsite. There are chalets on one side of this pond and a sandy beach with sunbathing lawn on the other side. There you will also find a nice swimming pool for children with a water playground. Furthermore, there is an indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi. The campsite also offers an extensive entertainment programme for children.

Good restaurant

Adjacent to the reception you will find the restaurant, where you can enjoy an excellent meal. The meals can also be taken away. If required, you can book a half board package at a very reasonable price. During the day you can get snacks here. The tennis court is located next to the restaurant. Ideal to shed those few extra pounds.....

"Luxury holiday park with indoor and outdoor pool, and indoor pool ' Robin' up to 12 years. All necessary facilities, also for groups. Spacious marked pitches, some with shade. In the high season entertainment programme and mini club. 1 hectare fish pond. Bicycle recreation (Loire á vèlo). Wi-Fi on the entire domain."

Liked - Well kept grounds and nice environment
Disliked - Shower block is tired and generally facilities need investment. The biggest let down is the “restaurant” which could offer so much more than it does. Its little more than a pizza take-away offering. I expect more from “5*”. The staff are pleasant but this campsite is trading of its past glories.

Liked - The pitch was huge and flat.
Disliked - Availability of certain food and beverages at lunchtime from the bar.
Lack of suitable shop for a 5 star site.
A 2 hour wait to be shown to our empty pitch. (Staff lunch break?)

Liked - We had a fantastic 3 night stay here. The pools and park were excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive and our pitch was very spacious. Wish we had stayed for longer!

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - We loved the chalet we stayed in by the lake. It was very peaceful and we had lovely views of the sunsets over the two lakes. The swimming pools were great and the kids loved swimming every day and going on the water slides! There were also lots of other great activities which we tried, including pony riding, the mini disco and the games evening.

Liked - Lovely campsite with lots of trees. Nice swimming pools and playground, great facilities and nice animation. Staff is very friendly.
Disliked - Just some few suggestions:
- big shoe rack at the swimming pools (especially outdoors)
- would be nice to grow some trees along the play ground to provide some shade.
- lock on the door of the baby washing room (handy when you have 2 toddlers to bathe...)
- rack in the shower cubicle of the private sanitair to put shampoo/douchegel on (especially when you have toddlers who like to open bottles)

Liked - The area around the camp site is wonderful - great Chateaux’s, lovely vineyards in Sancerre and Briare is really nice. The lake on site is great to paddle board.
Disliked - Arrival - chaos, 2 people before us yet as the septic tank was being emptied it was a disorganised joke. Cleanliness - the campsite is dirty, the pool developed a scum line all around the side of the pool and the indoor pool had too much chlorine in the jacuzzi - so much so I couldn’t catch my breath. Service at the bar rubbish - food poor quality and expensive, staff didn’t have a clue how to run a bar. This isn’t a 5* campsite, at best it’s a 3* The owner works hard but she is too short staffed. The showers are dirty and this is not due to the number of people as we have been to busier site

Liked - Very nice environment
Disliked - Facilities could use an update. And the electric buggies should be limited in speed, something it seemed like we were next to a race track
The electric vehicle charger should also be upgraded to a faster charger type. The current price is very expensive
