Camping-Ferme de Prunay is a quiet, child-friendly campsite in the Loire Valley, amidst agricultural fields. You camp on very spacious touring pitches in an orchard or on open lawns, with a view of the vast surroundings. The campsite is very child friendly. With educational activities in the summer - a visit to the petting zoo and donkey rides - the youngest camping guests will have the holiday of a lifetime. If you love splendour, visit one of the many castles on the Loire.

View of endless fields

On Camping Ferme de Prunay you'll camp on a wooded campsite. Especially the middle area is shady; here you camp in an orchard. The touring pitches on the outside are very open and spacious, and offer a view of the endless fields. Besides about 70 touring pitches (which differ in size, but are all very spacious) you can camp in a gypsy caravan, a modern bungalow tent or one of the chalets.

Outdoor pool and Tiki Bar

An hour splashing in the water? The outdoor swimming pool at the campsite is ready for it. You'll find the swimming pool near the entrance, in a sunny spot. It's not too big, but the children don't care about that. Drying up in the sun can be done on a lounger at the edge of the pool.

Or take an ice cream or drink on the terrace of the Tiki Bar. This bar is located under the roof of one of the authentic buildings next to the pool. Weather permitting, the covered terrace is extended outside the canopy and you can sit nicely among the trees.

Liked - The space, the swimming pool, the chalet for grandparents
Disliked - Opening times bar. Cafe should be open earlier to buy a cup of coffee.
All roads are difficult for old people using walker.

Liked - Camping magnifique, des emplacements et locations spacieux, séparés par de la verdure, tout est impeccablement propre, l’accueil charmant, les activités pour les plus jeunes et l’interraction avec les animaux vraiment top. Une déconnexion totale pour toute la famille, en pleine nature mais proche des nombreux sites touristiques de la région! On a adoré!!!

Liked - Huge pitches with lots of trees! Feeding the animals whenever we wanted was so much fun!
Disliked - Swimming pool a little small. Should put some rules in as the kids could run and jump in even when it was packed.

Liked - We stayed with our 5 kids in the camping, and enjoyed the access to the farm and the animals, the activities offered in the camping, and the proximity to the Loire's castles.
Disliked - Our pitch didn't have any tree and with the sun shining all the time it got extremely warm. The toilets/showers were alse quite far from our pitch. The number of sanitary facilities can be improved.

Liked - We stayed 10 days. 4 children and 2 adults.
Facilities were great, staff friendly and helpful. Brilliant atmosphere, felt safe and open. Farm and children’s play areas were fantastic.
Disliked - None we could think of.
