Lovely camping

After the barrier you see the recreation area with the aquapark and the restaurant. The castle also catches the eye. If you drive a little further into the grounds, you will come to a green area with several camping fields. There are spacious pitches with enough room for your car, caravan, motorhome or tent. No own camping equipment? Then hire one of the chalets, cottages or tents. Or you can let your children decide, in which case it will probably be a sturdy tree house!

Water fun and entertainment

The swimming pool at Camping Sandaya Château des Marais has various slides and pools. It is situated in the full sun, centrally at the entrance. For ultimate relaxation, you can also enjoy a steam bath or sauna. On dry land, no one has to sit still either. Especially for children, there is plenty to do, including the mini club and the entertainment teams that focus on older children and adults. They can do sports, do crafts, rehearse for a music or drama evening and dance. Fun for the whole family: a game of mini golf, table tennis or jeu de boules.

Restaurant

The campsite has a supermarket with many products, such as fresh bread every day. You can also enjoy an attractive restaurant with outdoor seating and a pizzeria. You will find a wide choice of dishes and children's menus.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Lovely campsite in a fantastic location. Facilities were modern and spotless. Great bar/restaurant. Staff so nice and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
Disliked - Please get better seats in the bar/restaurant- I found those outside quite uncomfortable after a short while.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - The toilet and showers were very good. Great location for visiting Chambord Chateau and cycling along the Loire.
Disliked - The service and value for money at the restaurant. The staff were lovely and were really trying there best, but they needed help. On both of my visits to the restaurant I had to chase the order for my drinks. The first time the meal arrived and there was no sign of our drinks. I then had to ask agin for our drinks! The second time the food took a lot longer to arrive. 10-15 after giving the waiter my order and the drinks still hadn’t arrived, I then asked again for my drinks and had to repeat what I had ordered! The staff were lovely and were rushing around doing their best but need help!

Liked - Pitches were spacious and clean .. Showers beautiful. We only stayed one night on way north but it was absolutely lovely.
