Around a large, old farmhouse in the French department of Indre you’ll find campsite Sun Valley, the family campsite of the Dutch owners Aukje and Harjan. Here you camp on a spacious terrain near the Lac d'Éguzon, the reservoir into which the river Creuse flows. For children this campsite is a great holiday destination: they will soon find holiday friends with whom they can go go-karting, crafting or swimming.

Spatial camping
The campsite gives a spacious feeling; from the entrance you can look far into the campsite and have a view of the beautifully laid out lawns. There is room for about eighty touring pitches. Most pitches are sunny. There are some scattered trees, but they don't provide the pitches with much shade.
Family campsite
The campsite is very suitable for families with children. For the younger campers there are bicycles and go-karts, large playing fields and a games room to be found on the campsite.
Heated swimming pool
At the side of the old farmhouse you will probably quickly spot the spacious swimming pool. This is located at the entrance of the campsite, on the side of the road. Even in less warm weather it is nice to swim here, as the water is heated. Next to the swimming pool is a paddling pool, for safety’s sake well fenced off.
Pancake evening
The large farmhouse is the centre of conviviality at the campsite. Harjan is in charge of the frying pan during pancake night, while on other days you can also eat a nice pizza or hamburger with fries. Shopping for groceries is easy: in the village there is a bakery and supermarket, but also several restaurants.
