In the middle of the Loire Valley forests you’ll find the campsite l'Orangerie de Beauregard. Camp here like royalty near the castle of Beauregard. The beautiful pitches are situated under tall trees or on grassy fields. Here you camp with the whole family in the middle of nature. Visit the local markets with regional products or enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant. You can also take a dip in the heated swimming pool.

Royal camping

The camping pitches are on grassy fields between the trees. You can even reserve a spot in the middle of the forest. Delightful! Even in the countryside, you sometimes need a bit of comfort. Then book a comfort pitch. It has a barbecue and a picnic table. So you can enjoy a long dinner at your own caravan. Would you like some extra regal camping? Then stay in one of the cottages at the castle.

Play table tennis with your holiday friends

Your children will have the holiday of their lives at L'Orangerie de Beauregard. They can play with many other children under the age of twelve. Together with their new holiday friends, they can play table tennis, do crafts and much more. In the meantime, you take it easy: sip Vouvray, a sparkling white wine, during a wine tasting. A local and worldwide celebrity.

Every week in the high season, fun markets are organised at the campsite. Here you can browse through the local products. Or sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and a steaming hot pizza. Would you like to visit a slightly bigger market? Then cycle or walk through the woods to Villedômer.

Liked - Such a great campsite, we are now spoilt to stay anywhere else. The pitch was perfect for us with lots of space and the toileting/showering facilities are far greater than many. Your team are all so wonderful and the activities you offer for the whole family are so great, let alone the fab swimming pool, forest and play areas to keep all busy. We've had a wonderful stay!

Liked - The campsite is in the most beautiful grounds and has a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The communal areas are all kept to a high standard in terms of facilities and cleanliness. The staff are all very friendly. The pool is lovely. A bit crowded at times but that is to be expected. The burger bar was a hit.
Disliked - The shop could benefit from having fresh milk, fruit and vegetables on offer. The nearby village (a lovely short walk from the campsite) does offer some fresh fruit and vegetables but the shop also sold only UHT milk. I was sorry not to understand that the wine tasting was on the grounds itself (I read chateau and assumed it was somewhere else and didn't understand my mistake until I walked past when it was already halfway through!).

Liked - The site was beautiful and carefully maintained. The staff were excellent and clearly cared about ensuring every family had a very good holiday. The site is situated on the St Jacques pilgrim route to Santiago and it was a privilege to feel a part of this with staff and fellow pilgrims . Special thanks to Tim and Jane for making us feel so welcome.

Liked - Site was clean and well kept. The pool was fantastic. The Monday market was fab. Staff helpful.
Disliked - Having the pool bar open earlier. Also we weren’t able to get a coffee in the milk bar as they said they didn’t start them until after 9.30am even though there was nobody in and the collection of the pastries & bread wasn’t busy that day. I wasn’t sure why as there was someone behind the counter & the coffee was right there!

Liked - Beautiful site with extremely attentive owners! Absolutely fantastic stay hope to be back
Disliked - We ate at the burger bar a few times and the burgers were good but just had far too much sauce on them with really soggy buns! I’d just suggest using a fraction of the sauce!
