In the Loire Valley with its impressive castles, 13 km from the university town of Tours, you will find Flower Camping Les Granges. This an amiable campsite for seekers of peace and quiet who appreciate nature and culture. This is also a good site for the entire family as it has a comprehensive entertainment programme. In 2018 the campsite changed owners.

Cosy and well cared for

The grounds are well-maintained and look cosy. Everywhere on the grounds, you will find tall deciduous trees offering ample shade. The camping pitches are demarcated with hedges and low shrubs. If you are looking for rental accommodation, you can choose between tents, chalets and mobile homes. The sanitary provisions are fine and kept spotless.

Playful swimming pool

The heated swimming pool has a playful design with rounded shapes and stone walls and gates. It is surrounded by loungers and thatched umbrellas. Adjacent to the swimming pool is a playground. Between the playground and the swimming pool is a fence to keep the little ones from accidentally falling into the water.

Endless entertainment

There are numerous recreational facilities for children: a playground (bouncer and trampoline), a multi-sports field and indoor play area (table football, billiard and table tennis tables). There is also some fitness equipment. In high season there is a Children's Club each morning and there are weekly music performances for the entire family. The area is ideal for fishing, walking. cycling, canoeing, kayaking and go-karting. The ‘Loire à Vélo’, an extensive network of attractive cycle paths, is close by.

Small, sociable terrace

There is a snack bar, open throughout the season, with a small and attractively furnished terrace. There is also a camping shop with a limited assortment and daily fresh bread.

Travelling party: Couple

De camping is sterk gedateerd, sanitair niet van deze tijd, er hangt een zwavellucht. Onderhoud is zo te zien al lang niet meer uitgevoerd. Wij komen hier zeker niet meer terug. De Flower organisatie koopt dit soort campings op om vervolgens alleen geld op te strijken en niet te investeren. Dezelfde ervaring hebben we elders met Flower gehad.

een fijne camping. Wat ouder sanitair maar kraaknet, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Prima voor wie een no nonsens verblijf wil.

camping zonder franjes. Alles is aanwezig en steeds netjes. Uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Heb er met plezier bijna 4 weken verbleven.

Kort verblijf van 3 nachten in mei 2022. Camper met 2 65plussers.
Aangenaam verblijf op rustige en verzorgde camping. Wij genoten van het kleine overdekte en verwarmd zwembad dar nooit over-crowded was.
Fietspad naar Tours is oké. Maar voor de langere tochten langs de Loire is dit niet the place to be.
